Sandycove Slipway

Kinsale, Ireland Nature preserve

One of the Best Places To Visits in Kinsale Rural Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. One of my favorite places in Ireland, always looking forward to heading down here and taking in the sights. On a good day the views are second to none. Just a tiny little corner outside kinsale for a lovely little spot to go for a swim or just enjoy the views We were shown Sandycove Slipway because our friend swims there almost daily. It indeed looks like a splendid place to swim around a small island. All (most) swimmers had a wetsuit. I don't believe that this is a must-have, but it will be more comfortable. Amazing spot. It's just feel good to be there. A nice little cove from where you easy can get into the water to go for a swim. From here you cann make a nice walk along the coast overlooking the cove and the sea. It has several parking places (approximately 10) but not too many. Nothing much else to do here. Stunning natural view, seen at its best from the water under the early evening sun, very calm waters, seals frequenting the rocks.... Kayaking is the only way to really soak in this beauty. To sum it up in two words, tranquil bliss! Amamzing location and for anyone who can grab a kayak and head out to sea or around the island for a few hours , do it !! Fantastic views of the coast If you want to go for a little open water swimming, this is a nice, lovely place to do 😉🥰 Sandy cove is a good beach for swimming or a quick paddle on the kayak. Parking is scarce. Amazing place!!! (My pictures do not do justice to the place). A really nice place to relax in. The green hills around, and the sound of the water makes it a pleasant area to visit whilst on holiday. There are even cows roaming by nearby to help fit you in the Irish scenery. The rocky beach itself is very nice, though I did not go for a swim. An absolute must visit if your touring in Ireland! A beautiful sea swimming location.
