Some items were cold and some were warm. Calzone was completely cold which was disappointing. The price was relatively inexpensive. 25 euros for two people. Rented hut and chairs here for 3 days (Aug 6-8 2019) and we fully enjoyed our stay. A great place to relax and great for all ages. Clean facilities. Great food at lunch. Katerina's warm hospitality made us feel like we were home. This place and its staff makes you fell like home! Great atmosphere, location and good quality of food! Their parties are totally worth it! At first as we (my husband and I) entered nobody even looked at us. It was quiet early. So we went on to the area and were looking for the reception to rent some umbrellas for the day. we noticed there is no reception, we were looking out for a responsible person at the beach. As we couldn’t spot someone we told ourselves to wait for a person who works there so we can pay for the as especially we are you used to it that somebody’s comes up to us if there is no reception at the area( besides the fact we have been traveling a lot and it’s been like that almost at every place and there was never a place [even in italy] you cold pay the charge directly at the bar for food and beverage) Furthermore the club was almost empty so would be easy for them to spot us. My husband than got back to our hotel to pick up our son because when we left he was still asleep. As they came back (approximately 40min) nobody approached us yet. My husband then went in to get us some drinks and snacks, came back to the everything was fine. Another 10 minutes later my brother and his family came up to us (right to the main entrance as well) and asked us where we did pay and just a few seconds later a man (who was obviously working there) came to us and told us that mostly of the rows were seasonal reserved by locals and we cannot simply take a seat. We genuinely apologized and explained to him that we didn’t ment to be rude nor had any bad intention and would love to pay. He told us very ruff to get to the inside to check if there are any umbrellas left. So we got our stuff together and did as we were told. Inside at the opposite of the bar in small corner a furios “lady” was waiting to scream at us. We explained ourselves again, apologized and so on. Another woman who didn’t work there but stood next to the female owner started to get really aggressive. They treat us as criminals even though we kept being kind and calm. I mean this is tourist spot, right? You shouldn’t be disrespectful and aggressive because misunderstandings can happen sometimes. Especially if the persons trying to make things up, are politely and calm. Again they treated us like criminals. Maybe it was because we don’t look like European. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior so as far my most disappointing experience.
