One of the Most Revieweds in Scharbeutz Ostsee Therme offers a good experience overall, particularly for sauna enthusiasts. Be prepared for potential crowds and prioritize visiting during off-peak hours. Check for special events and consider the textile-free sauna area for a wider range of options. The sauna area is a highlight, especially the textile-free zone. Consider visiting during the week or off-season to avoid large crowds. Be aware of the pricing structure and potential extra charges for exceeding time limits. The parking area can also get very crowded. "The best sauna relaxation paradise in Ostholstein or even Schleswig-Holstein." "The main pool area was soo crowded with kids that it resulted in an appalling noise polution." "Staff were friendly, and as the only black people there I felt quite comfortable and people were friendly and helpful." "Got more expensive for less offers! Still clean and fun but not how it used to be!" "There are places with a very nice view on the see.I like it and will definitely come again!" There are many different saunas and swimming pools. It is especially that there are places with a very nice view on the see. I like it and will definitely come again! Pretty thermal bathes with many options. The temperature was okay, could be warmer though. The showers are not good located, they should be in the closing area. The section was pretty good with many temperature options. The food in the restaurant was tasty at good prices, in competition with other restaurants outside. The view is wonderful and directly at the seaside. Friendly service. This is a nice place to go to. Definitely spent most time in the textile free and spa area. There's definitely far more there than the breeze spa, so if you dare to bare (it all) definitely go there. A roof top and whirlpool, several saunas with different themes and timed sessions incl fruits. An outdoor area, cold plunge with views out to the ocean, different levels, zones etc. In the breeze spa (textile area) they do have a nice that looks out onto the ocean which is nice, some relaxation areas and some other things you have to pay extra for. There's a bar/cafe and restaurant. 2 flumes although only one was in action, the green one, which was a lot of fun actually. -1 star just because there should be more on offer in the breeze spa and because the showers are up by the not downstairs in changing room area. But all in all, would recommend. Staff were friendly, and as the only black there I felt quite comfortable and were friendly and helpful. The is very tiny, there isnt much to do. I used to have a time here! I haven’t visit the place the last 2 years and I went last week and I was a bit disappointed! Bar is not open till 14:00 so better bring your own water! The programs in are but they made the rooms smaller as a result to be too crowded even in the week days! They talk without respect during the program so you can’t relax! Got more expensive for less offers! Still clean and fun but not how it used to be! A huge landscape. The best relaxation paradise in Ostholstein or even Schleswig-Holstein. 36 euros for a full day is absolutely fine. Very nice thermal baths, easy to reach by car. Parking spaces available, you can have the park card validated in the thermal baths I recently visited Ostseebad Therme, and I must say it was an awesome experience. The facilities were great, offering a range of activities and amenities that made it a perfect destination for relaxation and fun. The slides at Ostseebad Therme were a highlight. They provided exhilarating rides and added an extra element of excitement to my visit. Whether it was the twisty turns or the thrilling drops, each slide offered a unique and enjoyable experience. What impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the facilities. The and surrounding areas were well-maintained, creating a hygienic and inviting environment. It was evident that the staff put effort into keeping the facility clean and ensuring a pleasant for all visitors. The overall atmosphere of Ostseebad Therme was fantastic. The ambiance was relaxing, allowing me to unwind and enjoy my time at the facility. The friendly staff were attentive and helpful, adding to the positive experience. In conclusion, Ostseebad Therme is an awesome place to visit. With its facilities, enjoyable slides, cleanliness, and welcoming staff, it offers a fantastic for individuals and families alike. If you're looking for a fun and relaxing day at a well-maintained facility, Ostseebad Therme is definitely worth a visit. The main was soo crowded with kids that it resulted in an appalling noise polution. The cafes and so called restaurant just serve horrible fried stuff in an atmosphere that is suffocating because of lack of AC. The jets of jacuzzis in the were simply not there! Love anytime we go there.. But go early if you are opportuned before it gets filled with Ok.... As a swimming it would be ok. But unfortunately the whole is worth maximal 3 stars for me. If you are looking for a and spa day maybe it is something for you.... But for just swimming is Extremely expensive. Moreover to find parking space is nearly impossible. Today we have waited 1 hour in the rain to get inside (only till the check in). When we have finally managed to get in the waiting room we were not allowed to get inside because of bad weather and to many people.... So we went home. Something to consider 🤷 The general was good, however we had a terrible in the restaurant. The gentleman who was preparing food in the restaurant was extremely rude to me and my family!!! He was shouting and making fun of in a language that we understood. I have brought it to his attention where he completely ignored me. We will never go back just because of him!!! On top of everything, he was handling the food without any gloves and during the preparation touching his nose and hair while preparing the dishes. This is a very unsafe and unsanitary way of preparing someone's meal! The park could be a experience. However, as you have to go to the from the changing rooms via the stairs, where walk down with their street shoes, the Therme doesn't feel very hygienic. The pricing is unusual, as well. There's the choice between 2 hours, 4 and a full day, but not 3 hours. We decided to be there for 2 hours, but only managed to come out after 2 20 minutes. Instead of exercising some goodwill, the payment for the difference amount up to the full 4 was requested, which left a sour feeling of being scammed, which shouldn't be the of a 'feel-good place'.
