Great terrain for running, there is both a 5 km and an 8 km natural run Excellent, varied and welcoming nature reserve with lot's of different types of accomodations. The domain is big and caters for all levels of hikers. It's well laid out. There's a reception that helps you with everything from activities to bike rentals. The cantine offers good basic food and a choice (to be booked in advance) between warm lunch/dinner or bread. Take your time before booking to go over the options as you need to decide in advance: campfire, food delivery, bikes .. Well maintained camp sites for large (and not so large) groups, each with their own facilities. There's also a diversity of buildings to suit one's needs. The website provides a proper overview of every available site and plenty of explanation on every topic. What's most important in my opinion is that the staff here is super friendly and always helpful! I'm amazed how they've set the standard in an eco friendly environment by obligating transportation by (cargo) bycicles since forever. This is a place where one can BREATHE so I thoroughly enjoyed my morning runs while I stayed here. Thank you for keeping such open environment available for youth groups! It’s great for a big camp and has the main necessities. The contact with the keepers of the place is not great though. Not friendly at all… Booked a "survival workshop" for my daughter's 8th birthday. It was a big hit with her and all the friends. We had a big space in the middle of nature only for our party. Decent toilet available only for us. The adults could sit and relax while the kids learned survival skills. Very disappointing...We cancelled 6 months in advance due to COVID-19 and we have no refunding of so much money we have already paid. Such a waste, we’re never going back. They don’t care at all.
