The place is very beautiful, pleasant and useful, but note that if you want to reach it by public transportation, it is difficult because we walked on a part of the road through the trees, all of it was mud and silt. If you live closeby and you don't feel like driving much may be a option just to get the out of the house but there is nothing extraordinary about this place. Some points are kind of fun but in general I found the exhibit outdated. You have to walk 10 minutes from the parking going to Hidrodoe, so be sure to wear flat shoes! This place is located in the middle of the "forest" next to nature! It's a nice place for to learn about and how to conserve water. You can spend 3 to 5 here. I only gave 3 stars because of the restaurant, they serve drinks lots of choices, but the food, you can only get snacks like hotdogs, pizza baguette, pancakes toast, nothing fancy. A great place to take the kids. Friendly personal, and educational activities. Located in a nice forest where you can go for a stroll with the family. Very nice experience with kids. Kids have played very well and enjoyed all the activities. Outside playground was not open at this point because it was winter when we visited. Not too expensive. Restaurant with snacks, drinks and free available. Educational in- and outdoor experience to get to know all about and how it is cleaned. Total fun for the as they get to do experiments with (without getting too wet themselves). Mandatory for everyone, but extremely useful and educational for kids; excellent initiative Loved it, we spent well over 3 here with our 7 year old. We don't speak any Dutch unfortunately but loads of the info is available in English and they have WiFi so we were able to translate the few bits that weren't. Perfect place to spend a few on a very hot (or maybe rainy!) day. #EuroTrip2025 Great fun afternoon out. Make sure to bring sandals for to play with out side area. Lots of fun experiments to do, probably get a little bit more from it if you understand the language. Friendly staff. 4d movie looked a little dated but still enjoyed it. Small premises, only available in one language but you can scan a qr code at each display to read it, most of the items were out of service on the day of visit which is a shame, hence the low star rating. Cery child friendly interesting stuff to see Lot of fun activities for to learn about water. All activities and explanations are in Dutch. Prepare for a 20-25 minute walk from Herentals train station if you go there by public transport. Fun and informative. We spent three here, and it was great. You don‘t need to speak Dutch to have fun with water! Highly recommend a visit here if you have children. A fun family experience with some good, fun activities appropriate for all ages. There looked to be some information about alongside it (water cycle, cleaning, sanitation, climate change) but I can’t vouch for the quality as I’m not a Flemish speaker. Staff were very friendly. The 4D movie was fun for the and kept them entertained (part of the overall ticket price). The cafe served a selection of snacks and drinks with some options for light lunch. Parking was about 700m away from the venue but the walk was flat and along the road/accessible paths. I think there was some limited disabled parking closer to the building but not 100% sure. The attractions themselves are over the ground floor. Overall, a good, fun and reasonably priced 2-3 hours’ entertainment (maybe more if you can speak the language) for the family. Went there with our children almost 3 and 6. The younger one just liked to play with the (especially outdoors) and there is a slide and see-saw inside, at age 6 you can start with the educational information and easily spent a few hours. There is mix of information and do it yourself set-ups. A bit of a pity was that quite some parts were not working, I think one or two is okay but it was at least five set-ups not working. However the prices are really fair and parking is for free, would totally recommend. Very interesting for a very wide agegroup. Best is to visit on a warm(dish) day to enjoy the outdoor playground.
