Disappointing experience. No menu, no prices, unfriendly service. Appreciated a vegetarian meze plate, but the food itself was rather average. The byrek and fli was the worst amongst all the ones we have tried over Albania. There is still hope for great tourism in Albania. This place is proof. Great food from the local area, tasty, bio served by humble at a great price. Please don't change, keep this tradition alive and you will be rewarded, keep up the good work! This restaurant, located on the highway, has a cozy garden and friendly people. We ordered a platter of local appetizers and lamb. Everything was very tasty and had a homemade feel. The entire platter of appetizers was only 10 euros, and the lamb was 15 euros. An excellent place for lunch Is the perfect place to stop by, if you are driving from the south to the north. We were driving from Sarandä to Vlorä, and we found an surprise in this place. The service was amazing, the young boy served us, speaking a very good English for his age, super available to make our lunch perfect. We had all typical food, we love every thing, the cheese are amazing, the potato home made, it was the best experience. The prices at the best, for all that food we payed 14 euro; pass by and get this experience Of all the restaurants we tried in Albania, this was overall our favourite. It’s a family-run restaurant and the there are lovely. The tables are in the garden, which gives it nice cozy vibe. We tried the mezza and the chicken with rice. It was fabulous, very good quality. Everything felt like home and it really reminded me of my grandma’s cooking. Absolutely amazing. Unassuming restaurant off the side of the highway with food. I had this very unique Albanian dish call rosnica that consists of thick chicken gravy and bits of soft/crunchy dough. 10/10 would recommend experience, best food of my whole time here. There's no menu which is intimidating at first but that's because all the food is local and it varies as a result. Family run fun staff and fantastic prices. Best way to tell the quality and enjoyment of the food is the absolute silence when the food came out from the group of 9 we were in. We had two platters of veg chips and it other local food and then one platter of meat. We finished as much as we could 10/5 We just dined at a local tavern, and we are still impressed by the food and service. The place doesn't have a fixed menu, but I highly recommend trusting the recommendations of the young man who served us (unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name). He brought us a platter of various delicious treats — lots of vegetables, burek, Albanian butter, olives, Greek yogurt, potatoes, baked cheese, and much more. On top of that, we were served a huge plate of rice with chicken. We were already full after the appetizers (and that was the smaller portion!), so we ended up taking the rice home. The food was incredible, but do you know what was even better? The service! As a gift, we were treated to a delicious ayran and even a tasting of raki. The prices were very reasonable — we dined for just €27 for three people, and that includes the rice we took with us. I've been to many places, but I will definitely come back to this tavern when I'm passing by again. Highly recommend this place to everyone!💛🇦🇱 Local products, delicious, traditional. garden and ambience, pleasant staff. The only thing to have in mind is that the portions tend to be rather too big. But one can bring the rest of the food with them. Lovely place to stop for a meal. The food was very good and the portions were very generous. The workers at the tavern are super friendly and very nice people. We had no cash on us and they allowed us to leave without paying, a gesture we will always be grateful for. They were attentive at all times to see if we were comfortable and if the food was good. If I ever go back to Albania it will be a place I will definitely return to. The tavern is a 10, as well as being very cheap per person, there were 8 of us and we played for less than 7€. Thanks again to the whole family. and food! We had a great and huge lunch 🤩 Deon was the best waiter we could wish for and explained the traditional food for us.
