The soft play had strings hanging over, papers and wrappers. Overall my little one enjoyed it. It's amazing here! My boys absolutely loved it! The are wonderful. They're really encouraging with the kids, and my boys made it so much further on the obstacles than they would have without them. There are loads of different and a cafe for people nit taking part. There's also a soft play upstairs. There was one negative, the toilets smelled terrible. The rest was so good that I'm still giving it 5* Fantastic place. Take my nearly 5 to 6 times a year. While there are definitely climbs for experienced climbers, I would have appreciated having more easier routes available for first-timers and younger children. Overall a for the nearly 10yr old that attended our child's birthday party. All were adequately briefed before their session and staff-members promptly helped them with their harness-gears. There are plenty of to cater to different abilities and experiences that can get the adrenalin going. I do think that the Toilets near the soft-play section need better upkeep and maintenance. They could even do with some fresh makeover. It's a good facility to have in Watford. is fun for kids. toddlers sessions for clip and climb plus soft play are thoughtful and helped my son really get into it in a quieter environment BUT this place is NOT clean. We are starting to avoid using the bathrooms here because they are so bad. They recently spent a bunch of money extending the but apparently can't fork out for a working disabled loo or to have the toilets checked and kept clean. We'll never have a here with the hygiene concerns. Food / Coffee is distinctly MEH with no healthy options. Mixed feelings Excellent place to visit with the on a cold Saturday afternoon. We visited a bit later at 5.30 pm and the weren't so busy. Em one of the ground instructors was really helpful especially as it was my daughter's 1st visit to rock up. The soft play was perfect for his age – spacious, clean, and full of exciting things to climb, slide, and explore. It felt safe and well-supervised, which made it easy for me to relax while he played. The were friendly and attentive, and everything was well-organised. While we didn’t try the this time, we saw plenty of families and having a fantastic on them. It looked like so much fun, and I’m sure we’ll be back soon to give the a go ourselves. The place is , but the toilets are always horrible. Smelly ,dirty , leaking, blocked etc A for my 8 year old granddaughter. Having measured 1.4 metres tall, she was able to do the high ropes course. I was squeamish at first watching her but she was so safe and absolutely loved it. The were amazing. Worth every penny to see her so proud of herself! Took my godson here twice recently, and he loved it each and didn't want to leave. They offer a wide range of with varying levels of difficulty, and they are well maintained. All the were very helpful, friendly, and work with kids. However you don't have to be a kid to climb here, as it would be fun for anyone who likes climbing. The place itself is a little hard to find as Google maps will point you to a different shop on the high street. It's actually inside the shopping centre on the second floor close to one of the entrances. If you purchase a go on the leap of faith, please note that you only have 1 chance to do it. If you climb up and decide not to do it, you will need to purchase another one at the front desk to try again. The second we visited, they had just opened the High Ropes course which leads outside above the shopping centre, but the little one was a bit too short to go on it. But he said he would love to try it when he's a bit taller. Sessions were 1.5 hours, which is more than enough to do each wall and take your time. Well worth it. It is a perfect space for my 2-year-old child, and we have enjoyed coming here on weekdays, weekends, during school holidays, and term time. However, I must express my concern regarding the cleanliness of the surrounding areas. While the main play is generally in good condition, the adjacent spaces—such as the tables, chairs, and floors—are consistently dirty. More importantly, the condition of the restroom facilities is unacceptable. The floor, toilet bowl, doors, and bins are frequently dirty and emit an unpleasant odor. It is extremely concerning, especially considering that young children are the main users of these facilities. As a parent, I do not feel safe allowing my child anywhere near them. I kindly urge you to take immediate action to improve the hygiene and maintenance of these areas. Clean and sanitary conditions are essential in a space intended for children and families. We really enjoyed our at Rock Up in Watford. We arrived spur of the moment and the couldn't have been more helpful. The instructions before the climb were very helpful and the were on hand in case we needed assistance. The space itself is very clean and organised. We highly recommend! We booked when there was an offer for the birthday child to go free. I was called before the to run through key elements and discuss food options. We were warmly welcomed at reception and given our bands. We had an with tables and chairs where the children could leave coats etc. the girls then went for a safety briefing. The birthday girl got a special band so she could do the leap of faith and the high ropes- a real bonus! The girls then had their allocated slot. Afterwards we were taken back to our for food- we chose pizza and there was also crisps, cucumber and biscuits. There was unlimited squash and also ice cream. We took our own cake. The girls had plenty to eat and it was no problem that one of the didn’t like pizza- an alternative was easy to sort. The girls had adequate to eat and we were not rushed out at the end of the party. A party- would recommend. Super and amazing to keep trying. Convenient joint when shopping. My boys enjoyed their even trying all equipment they would have never dreamed of. My youngest has a fear of heights, within 30mins of being there he was the highest structure available. Definitely will be taking them again. My boys are autistic SEN and they usually go there. Today they went with their carers and the manager refused them entry. Didn’t even email or call to ask me whether I want gift card or money back and just issued a gift card for climbing. I called to ask him I want my money back and not gift card because my boys cannot do due to their needs and nobody else can use this gift card. Very rude person, refused to give me his name and told me he is so busy and cannot deal with my query, and that he is the ‘highest manager’ there and he cannot help. were very lovely and kind, especially Melissa and Harry in the arena. When doing the higher ropes outside Myer was very reassuring . I would love to come again , would recommend for everyone ! The soft play upstairs is also fun, it's designed so parents can sit down but still see their children playing. I am deeply disappointed, and this will be my last visit to this establishment. Two months ago, my wife left a review on Google and received a response assuring me that improvements would be made. Unfortunately, upon returning today, I found the situation unchanged and equally disheartening. The restroom, primarily used by children, remains in an unacceptable condition. Toilet paper intended for intimate use was lying on the dusty floor, there was no running water at the sink, the doors were visibly dirty, and the toilets themselves were unclean. Greater attention should be paid to maintaining these facilities, particularly considering that the main beneficiaries of this space are children. We arrived at Rock Up Watford on March 29 at 12:45 PM and entered at 1:00 PM. Our was booked from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. We were told to sit and wait while the room was being prepared. When I asked again, they said it would be ready at 2:30 PM. At 2:40 PM, they finally brought the food—burnt pizza with no juice. After repeatedly asking for juice, they brought two small pitchers 10 minutes later. Then, at 3:00 PM, they told us we had to leave because they needed to set up for the next party. I explained that we had just entered at 2:40 PM, but they simply said, “That’s not our problem.” I asked to speak to the manager, and a member came back saying, “You have 10 minutes to eat your cake and ice cream.” Just 5 minutes later, they came back and said our was up. The children had to rush to grab their ice cream, and I had to ask for a knife just to cut the cake. My child was so stressed and told me, “This was the worst birthday ever.” While the play was fine, the food service, staff, and management were absolutely terrible. They had clearly overbooked parties, prioritizing money over children’s experience. I strongly recommend NOT booking a here. Visited today and were excellent and helpful.
