A lovely area, that can get very busy during the summer months. There is a pay and display car park, but as I write this it takes card payment only. ( postcode MK15 0DT) Height barrier is 1.8 metres. Toilets next to car park, although out of season some are closed. There are ones open by the watersports centre but they close around 4.30pm in the winter. A large big ferris wheel to ride in giving views. 2 x Restaurants. You have the treetop extreme, where you can climb through the trees. There's also a gym During the summer months there are quite often inflatables which need booking, sports and peddle boat hire. You can around the and it takes around 40 minutes. The path is hard and suitable for buggies. No extreme footwear needed. Dogs allowed, although on lead is advised as there are alot of geese, swans, and wildlife around. Off lead ok in the nearby fields. There are some climbing frames for children. There is also nice view points from the restaurants. Worth a visit, but does get busy on sunny days. We had a lovely around the lake. Very calm. A shame you can’t get scooters there but they do have the little cart thingies you can pedal around that’s quite fun Coffee time 😍😍😍 Love Willen Lake, for a walk, times, it’s clean and tidy and lots to do! Only 1 star lost due to when Willen have busy events on, you can never despite the extra car they have being closed, other then that, lovely time out. Wonderful place to enjoy with your kids, an ideal place to walk, picnic and adventure on the water. for family, safe grounds & plenty of space to explore! As well as reasonable parking fee with plenty of space of parking. Willen in Milton Keynes is amazing! It's a beautiful that Man made. It's taken care of really well and there's a ton of stuff for kids to do, like a cool areas, a café, sports, and even a restaurant. Oh, and don't forget about the ice cream trucks – yum! Parking is easy, which is awesome. My and I go there a lot because they have nice walks and even some outdoor gym stuff. They also have this big trail thing that's super fun. I totally love this place. The is so pretty, and there's so much to do. It's relaxing and exciting all at once. In summer you can do lots of activities includes play, obstacle course, for kids and peddle boat rides. Amazing for the family. Parking spaces with affordable prices. No more BBQ permitted. Splash session at o'clock for 45 minutes for 6.50£ per child. Water sports in the are . Inflatable aqua parcs are somehow expensive. Quadracycle available for rent. Toilets everywhere. Went here as a last stop off in our trip back to Milton Keynes And to our surprise there was a carnival on and it was the last day! We always love heading to this and having a delightful around it Would have been nice to share this with my other we were visiting but it still was good, this is also the first time we have seen the again since the work was completed And it looks really good and the expanded and walking ways are really good. Shame the coffee shop there in the new section closed off when it did would have been lovely to relax right by the with a warm drink Overall day and lovely end Willen is a very nice place with a big a splash and a bar and kitchen. You can go on a around the which is very nice in the summer. There is go ape which I have not done but I usually always see people on it when I come. There is lots of different pathways you can on which takes you around the and there is a pathway which takes you to gulivers theme park. There is a big ferris wheel that you can go on but I think it is expensive but is worth doing. I recommend Willen because it has lots of things to do and so much to do. Willen is one of the nicest spots in Milton Keynes for a relaxed day out with family, friends, or even solo. .While the experience at the was great, the parking situation really let it down. The car is ANPR camera-controlled (number plate recognition), and the system is extremely unforgiving. Use to be a really cool place for young people to hang out and enjoy various activities, unfortunately this is not the case anymore as they got rid of the wakeboard cable that use to be one of the best in the UK and gentrified the to beyond all recognition and charge silly money if you want to enjoy coffee or even just to your car there. (Edit) A year later things have got even worse. They have put up an ugly and unsightly fence around the lake, allegedly this is to prevent the geese and swans from walking up onto the footpath. (despite the feeding of these wild animals being actively encouraged) The slipway the other side of the fence is covered with the excrement from these animals creating a nauseating smell, and the leading up the waterfront that use to be grass is now a muddy mess. We were in the visiting and came for a walk, we wasn't expecting it to be as busy as it was. After leaving the car and making our way around the it soon felt more peaceful. Very enjoyable walk. Beautiful place! Lovely walk. Peaceful feel. outdoors and good for a Super place for relaxation and activities! There are kids rides, Ferris wheel (with a wonderful view), also you can ride catamarans on the and have lunch on the grass or eat in the cafes. There’s a very tasty ice cream in the van, so get ready to stand in line)) There are many beautiful swans in the lake! For children there is a big cool playground, they will be delighted!🤗 As a result, everyone is happy, and you will have amazing photos👍 place for a walk. I cycle here often and some places are beautiful. There are some activities you can do here like an outdoor or using a paddle boat. way to spend a few hours outside. I also saw a black swan there the other day. It was really cool Willen is literally my gym! I’ve run hundreds of miles around it now and love it, Always looks like there is so much going there as well A picturesque location ideal for leisurely walks, picnics, or simply relaxing and taking in the scenic views. The offers ample parking, sitting area, a children's area, and a Ferris wheel, making it family-friendly. Refreshments, including snacks and coffee, are available on-site. Compared to other lakes in Milton Keynes, this spot is more commercialized, which can result in larger crowds, particularly on weekends. Loads of space to explore. Plenty of space to have a picnic even when it is busy season. We have been a couple of times. Our kids enjoyed the splash and enough open space to run around. is popular. Not much food options inside the boundaries but can find places few minutes away Something for everyone. Nature, long walks, areas and food/coffee. Well worth a visit. A day out with loads to do. Hired cycle buggies which were fun to cycle around the in with friends although quite expensive. Daughter went on the big wheel and really enjoyed the views. Toilets clean and parking easy.
