Burg Klammstein is in private hands and you get a different guide as in the other castles. worth going there. kind hosts! Nice visit. For us it was included in our National Somercarte. The tour guide (German) was interesting and necessary to make sense of all memorabilia (a bit cluttered) that were in the tower. It has a nice view from the top floor. In essence it is only the tower, the other building is run as a bar and desk. Small cosy castle. The guided tour is very interesting. The most interesting is the guide who has a lot to tell about the history of this place. Otherwise it looks a lot like a small cupboard with a lot of parafernalia stowed inside. Little room to even stand. Underwhelming. Multiple floors in the castle tower crammed full of items - of which would be interesting if they had been displayed to tell the history of the location. You are only allowed in with a guide who only speaks German which wouldn’t be a problem if there was some information provided in English (which is widely spoken in Austria). A lovely place, nice food and the museum is very interesting! I highly recommend it. The collection of the building is impressive for its size. The guide is frindly, knowledgeable and patient.
