On a thin strip of land, you can a long way out in the lake and watch the water flow and the wind blow. In winter there will be a lot of amazing ice formations to look at. A stretch of almost 4.5 km to the tip. The is easy. The terrain is mixed with forest paths and stony path. At the tip you could take a dip or just enjoy the waters and view. Be sure to carry a fika as the can make you hungry. There's a fika table placed at a pretty spot. I wish there were more tables though. Do not miss the nearby beach - Svalnäs Vänern. The sunset views from here are beautiful and the beach is quite big with lots of sand. What an amazing beach and hike! Lots of wildlife. Hindens rev går 4-5 km rakt ut i Vänern. Sist vi planerade det var det över 30 grader varmt, vilket kändes lite väl hett - hade definitivt undvikit det en alltför varm sommardag med tanke på underlaget. Nu var det runt 18-19 och perfekt. Udden är 25-100 meter bred. Mycket lösa stenar och bitvis smala stigar, men fin utsikt över klart vatten och ståtliga träd. Enkel tur tog cirka 40-45 minuter. Parkering finns men ingen toalett. Super spacer Lovely place for a hike. Just so you know, the hike is 5 km one way not 3 km as written on the board that's installed in the parkinglot. That's a total of 10km. Eine schöne kurzweilige Wanderung, bei der immer mal wieder ein Plätzchen zum Verweilen gegeben war. Am Ende hatte es sich etwas gezogen, aber gelohnt hat es sich auf jeden Fall. Die Wanderung ist ca 4 Kilometer (1 Stunde) hin und zurück (also insgesamt 8 Kilometer / 2 Stunden). Der Weg ist leicht begehbar aber uneben über Kies. Der Blick am Ende der Landzunge ist ein Besuch wert. Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos und sauber. Cool experience, partially a bit demanding pathway.
