It was a wonderful experience. Hiking on the mountain to arrived into waterfalls. All nature around its very relaxing and fresh air . give a try I guarantee you that it’s worth it. Water that passed by is came from waterfalls it’s too cold but it’s good for the body so try it This is a beautiful hiking area and the walk is not too difficult. The water and waterfalls are lovely and also keep the cool: it's already fairly covered by trees which really helps. In the height of summer the water isn't flowing down all of the valley (without a recent rain) but there is still plenty to see and the scenery is great regardless. Went here in the pouring rain which ment we had it all to ourselves. Beautiful place which is both man made and natural. A must visit, if you like taking pictures in nature. If you drive off the asphalt onto the bumpy one it opens up into a large parking area on your right. Also a cafe here but was closed on our visit. Cute place and long walk. There's even a shuttle that takes you from the car park to the beginning of the pathway. The water is crystal clear and cold. Unfortunately, because there are so many people visiting this place, if you look carefully you'll see plastic bottles and garbage in certain spots. Please, take care of this place and take away your trash with you! Do not get here wearing slippers and sandals. The asphalt, at a certain point, ends and the turns into a dirt path. There are points in which having good grip with your shoes is necessary. Nature should belong to all. I don't mind paying an entrance fee for upkeep. But here, residents have even taken control of the road. Contradictory signs declare the closed at specific hours, or all the time, or only when a non-functional traffic light is red. I tried walking from the nearest parking lot. It's extremely far, an unpleasant walk on the in the sun. Shuttle only works from June. There are rivers and streams all over the region, without the unpleasantess of reaching this place. 1.5km walk from where the city shuttle leaves you to the beginning of the which takes you to the waterfalls... From there other 2.8km. The first kms on asphalt road, with ups and downs hills, during summer not feasible, when one arrives at the begging of the path, pebbles and jai, and more vegetation the temperature cools down. There is no access with wheelchair or buggies unless one what's to walk for 2hrs from the city center of Vertova, to the beginning of the to the waterfalls, from there onwards the pebbles and jai will be an obstacle. During summer there is a payment fee, only 1400 allowed to enter per day, when we were there amount of people allowed exceeded. If you what to use the bus shuttle from the ex train station of Vertova please make sure to tag the voice on the online ticket, during booking your visit. During spring, autumn and winter the entrance is free and one can reach by car up to the beginning of the where there is a parking lot, there is a small bridge to cross to go to the other side where the parking lot is situated. Beautiful scenery with mountain view and clear river. Also some small waterfall and bridges. Looks a bit like in Canada. There is a small shop at the beginning of the trail you should really visit. The owner offers self made salame and cheese, also the gelato self made and tastes so good. Pay by card or cash. It's absolutely worth the money. The scenery is for free. The worst ticket management ever. We had scheduled for the 20th of August, but the weather was bad, so we received an email asking us to reschedule. We did, but on the new date there was again an orange weather alert. Another email was sent with a link to reschedule, but when we clicked, it said we couldn’t change our order. In the end, we paid 24 euros for nothing. Also, remember they will never respond to emails. My advice: check the weather carefully before booking, and don’t rely on them for rescheduling—it doesn't work, they are awful. Nice place, very quiet and peaceful. We walked from the bus stop in Vertova so it is a longish bit of walking. But nice to be out walking along the river once it is reached. Very nice place but very difficult to find a parking place, better take the shuttle from Vertova Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
