This is a beautiful historic island with lots of artist village. We came here as part of the Danube Bend Tour. I managed to get some beautiful souvenirs from here. They had lovely shops with either embroidery clothes, tablecloths, lots of magnets and other beautiful artwork for sale. Its a very good place for tourists and for relaxing. I hate to say this, but THERE IS NO WAY UP THE MEGYERI-BRIDGE FROM THE ISLAND. You must know this Me and my lad were trying to go there, eventhough google maps didn't recommend that route... it insisted on using the ferryboat. We luckily got a ride home at 2am with 1 torch.
