There is a beautiful church in the center of the and some very cute historic streets. Small but has everything you need for your get your Saturday free bus ticket from hear staff are very helpful and your map Tri-lingual Daphne was a great help in explaining all the good touristy things to do in Rouen. Best place for tourists and travellers, it is very friendly and people are ready to help you to know about Rouen and Normandie. They have a very clear details for tourists and travellers, the must to do list and important places to visit. It also have a wide variety of souvenirs you can buy and also important memorabilias of the region. Tourism information office also has the money exchange where you can exchange most of the world currencies. I exchanged Singapore dollar, Hong Kong dollars and also British Pounds for a good rate. It is a perfect place for all tourism and travel kinda things in Rouen. Rouen is a great to visit. Lots to see, great restaurants, and old world charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Amazing city, beautiful architecture, fantastic cathedral. We accidentally came across a lazer show celebrating the history of Rouen, magnificent. We stopped by to see what information they had for our visit. They also rent bicycles, an audio tour, have walking tours, sell merchandise , and provide other tourist information. Most of the staff spoke English and were very helpful and friendly. What a beautiful and interesting city! Love it! Very helpful lady showing us points of interest to in Rouen The Rouen Office of Tourism was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and eager to help. They provided clear and detailed information, helpful maps, and excellent suggestions that made exploring the so much easier and more enjoyable. I totally do not recommend picking the audio guide here. I am a huge fan of history and take the audio guides everywhere. This is one of the worst. First of all, the device is awful, it’s super quiet, you can barely hear the speech. Especially on the street. You can not move backward a little bit. If you miss something you have to listen from the very beginning of the section. Secondly the quality of materials is poor. Some parts are told very fast, so you can’t take your time to find the object or walk from one point to another to follow the story. The content is superbasic. If you just read the annotation and interesting facts on Wikipedia - it will be much more, than listening through the section. Also the content was not up to date in many points. Some materials in Rouen cathedral are no longer exposed, same for a few places in the citicenter as well. The good part it is chip - 8, euros in June 24 and the root through the is really good and smart. I recommend you taking the route map in the tourist office and pass it on your own, reading the basic materials in Wiki or google reviews at each point. The and it’s story are magnificent. One should take an effort to improve the educational services for the tourists. A few days ago we took a guided tour organized by the tourist office. We couldn't have made a better choice. It was a very interesting and entertaining two-hour tour (and very cheap 12€/person). Our guide, Lucy, was very knowledgeable and talented, and shared many interesting and little-known details about the city. I highly recommend it!
