We enjoyed it so much, we went back 2 days later! The majority of the are able to roam around freely, meaning you need to keep to the paths (gravel), and you can’t eat/picnic in the park. But there is an on-site cafe, and opposite the is a municipal park, with a large picnic area. The whole feels very special - peaceful, green, full of wonder. L'espace volière est superbe, avec un réel entretien au sein de ces dernières. Pour autant, certaines volières ne me semblent pas adaptées aux animaux présentés, notamment en terme de taille (aras, oiseaux marins) mais aussi en rénovation (ouistitis, ou autres aras et cacatoès notamment). Les gibbons font également tâche dans cet espace axé autour de la liberté des milliers d’oiseaux présentés.. Ils sont littéralement détenus dans une grande cage/volière ! De plus, la signalisation du parc (flèches et panneaux explicatifs) ne correspond pas vraiment aux espèces présentées. We entered this thinking we'd be there for about an hour, we stayed for just over four and a half hours 😀 Most of the run free throughout the grounds while others have enclosures all set out in a lovely way. They have an incredible bird collection and also have Marmosets, Gibbons and Tamarins, Red Panda's and Red Squirrels, Black Buck antelope, Wallabies and more, all set out in the most wonderful park. The Château is outstanding also, and for €9 for adults and €7.50 for students, it's was money well spent, the car parking (outside) is free.
