We enjoyed our day with kids here at lovely weather. Free entry for all. Friendly staffs. Nominal charges for fruits per basket (after picking). Cafeteria and pleasant outdoor search available. Must visit place if you need a relaxing day. BEAUTIFUL BREAKFAST & CAKES @ White House Farm. And you can also buy fresh double yolk eggs. Would definitely recommend Lovely cafe with fresh produce shed and a butchery. The PYO in summer and autumn (sunflowers, strawberries previous years, pumpkins) is gorgeous - plus all the other things they have on site - from a brewery (Raider Cider), nursery, florist, dance studio… it’s a jewel of the community. Wonderful little farm shop, cafe and butchers. We likely drive past 2 others to go to this place and absolutely love their black pepper sausages. I once had a spicy sausage roll from here that blew my mind, but they don't always have them or they sell out so quickly (not sure which). It's not cheap, but quality local produce is worth it. The staff behind all counters are always so helpful, kind and happy to help. Kid and dog friendly. Went here today for a snack lunch as it had been highly recommended. Placed our order for a bacon & sausage butty and a baked with cheese along with drinks. Advised that they had run out of cheese so ordered a baked with butter. Food was delivered and in the main the food was ok, however, there was no coleslaw provided with the baked only salad. I called across a waitress and asked if there was an issue with the coleslaw as we had already been advised they had run out of cheese. She came back and said she was sorry, but the kitchen had been very busy and they had run out of coleslaw too. She did offer more salad, but the point was they charged us full price for the baked but served no cheese or coleslaw. This is a perfect example of how not to provide good customer service. It is of little interest to us that the kitchen was busy. Charging full price for what was already a very expensive baked was bad enough, but not supplying what was suppose to be offered according to the menu card and then blaming the kitchen for being busy is of little comfort. Needless to say White House Farm - we will not be back, especially as there are other local Farm shops (Black Barn, Rackheath) serving great food with more competitive prices and they supply what is actually advertised on the menu card plus they provide really good, friendly customer service. 31st January 2025 Footnote: I have just been contacted by the owner, Charlotte; she tracked me down via the internet to apologise for the experience we had and to offer amends to demonstrate how they can deliver customer service in the future to us. Unsurprisingly, we are likely to take her up on her kind offer in the weeks ahead so we can try again to see for ourselves that our initial review was an isolated experience. Thank you Charlotte. We visited yesterday lunchtime with a visiting family member and our 1x year old granddaughter. I was a little apprehensive as this was our first lunchtime venture out with her but our experience was a brilliant one! The staff were all brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Clean highchair provided and they happily warmed her food. The service was prompt and friendly and the food arrived quite quickly and was DELICIOUS! The sausage rolls went down a treat and my jacket was perfect. Nicely presented and piping hot. And as for the fruit scone.....Oh my days! Absolutely delicious. The whole experience was relaxed and fun and even my darling granddaughter enjoyed the experience! I could have cried because I had been apprehensive and it was brilliant. I did tell all this to one of the waitresses, but wanted to do so publicly too! All too often, people moan but seldom praise. WHF is brilliant and I will happily return, safe in the knowledge that we will be warmly met and looked after. Thanks all. Tx Incredible service, it was rammed on a Tuesday afternoon! I still got 2 full English breakfasts and 2 coffee’s within 15 minutes, both as fresh as can be! Believe me when I say this was the best English breakfast I have ever had. Highly recommend! Was hoping to take my girls for a lovely lunch this afternoon, as I have been many times before and have had no issues. However on this occasion we walked into the cafe and we were greeted with nothing but sourness and a cold shoulder. We were made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. We was notified that we was too late for the lunch menu which was no problem but after that singular interaction we no longer wanted to stay due to the waitress’s rude custom and overall unfriendly atmosphere Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
