The area is so good But missing lots of comfort in the rooms that can be easily fixed by the management Internet is so bad , showers and bed comfort.. these are things that can improve the experience. But the surrounding and the overall experience is really good Well the room itself was nice and clean. When we arrived on Monday the 24th of June it was very hot and zhe AC did not work. Ok, it was fixed during the afternoon but a bad start as I could not relax from the journey but had to deal with receptionists and technicians. When the AC finally worked and I turned it off for the night, it mafe a sound every ten seconds! So I could not properly sleep and it was not fixed until our departure on Thrusda despite telling it to the reception (which is also only occupied during the day, so in the first night I could not tell someone, earplugs did not work either). And the rest of the service was "ok". The staff at the reception was friendly the staff at the breakfast not. Not very welcoming and chaotic. Nobody seemed to know who is responsible for the (few) tables. As you had to order everything (no buffet) , it was an unpleasant experience as the service was very slow and you felt like a "Bittsteller". They also forgot stuff and did not seem to like their job although there was enough staff for the few tables. If the AC had worked properly. 4 stars. Breakfast is not a buffet and you have to ask for every little thing We stayed for a week, parents, grandparents and three kids. The room was spacious enough for us all. The location was great. Really liked the central location for our excursions around the country. It was a nice home for us and actually miss it. Would go back. The sauna though was not working. Took a few days to get fixed. They do provide some items to clean with, detergent tabs, etc. But would have been nice to have those restocked. Bring all your linens, towels. Things can be better and things must be better explained the houses are oke full kitchen and all no oven just the garden tables and chairs we're all broken and patched with duct tape lol the cleaner s are not workers or the marina park but private ... Wen there is theft or burglar it's your problem because the park doesn't help or do checks the ask you !!! Why don't you call the police the personal is not professional the must are still high school students and the ones that are bit adult let's say 25 have a lot of attitudes bit unbelievable .... One thing that I notice allot that the Holiday park is now turned in Eastern European village allot off polish and Romanians why ????? No idea but the seem to be living in the park and working in the airports and factory's Make Marina park your last choice not first volendam can always be visited by buss because the surrounding area in volendam is only farm vile Been here for a while, nice area close to Pieterman small beach, not far from AH and other shops, also not far from Volendam marine and pedestrian zone. Nice restaurants around, beautiful marina view from some apartments. Rooms could be better but ok in general. BBQ possible outside apartments which is cool, however some people use that time for loud ethnic music and yelling. One thing that also many people find annoying is that some houses have closed balcony doors. What's the point of having a balcony if you can't go out, sit and relax. Super Marinapark Volendam is with great location, but Roompot Volendam houses itself, unfortunately, is the dirtiest place we have ever been. When we arrived, the whole floor of the house (323a)was covered with long, white hairs from the previous dog. Not only the floor, but the sofa, beds, inside the cupboards with utensils. Bedroom's corners were with half finger dust. Everywhere spiders. The windows and the doors are not cleaned maybe for years. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to upload pictures. You need to update the pictures of the website where customers make their bookings, because we paid for ground floor with view to the marina, but we got view with neighbors garden (it's called misleading of the customers). Never mind that the houses with a Marina view were busy only at the weekend and we stayed 7 nights. Unfortunately not good management. For sure, we will be back in Volendam,but next time not in Roompot.
