Krushuna Waterfalls

Beautiful walk in a wooded area with different routes for different abilities once at the top you can see a waterfall of various degrees depending on the season, clear pools of water that look turquoise I colour. Entry was 4lev per person, including a child. It's only a short walk, but there is a well established hotel, swimming pool and vendors selling the usual tat and ice-cream's / drinks The nature is very beautiful. The place is easy accessible from the parking lot. There are many benches and trash cans near the paths. It could be overcrowded (probably over the weekends), but if you find a more quiet time then you will fully enjoy the nature around. Nice place in the nature. I added captions to the photos to guide you through the paths. They could add English signs and the toilets could be cleaner and they should have toilet paper since you are paying an entrance fee. This is why I am giving it 3 stars. On top of that you can’t pay by card in 2025 in European Union…they guide you to exchange at the restaurant but you can go around the restaurant toilets and enter using the rainbow colored gate for free since they don’t want to accept card payment. The parking is taxed but you can park on the street for free. You will spend maximum 1 hour if you walk both paths slowly. Absolutely stunning waterfall, great location, and a fabulous cafe/restaurant in the forest. I highly recommend sensible footwear flip flops are definitely not safe. As would be expected there are many mosquitos so definitely bring your repellent. Beautiful and relaxing place where to spend time with the family The place is amazing! The entrance was 5 lv for an adult and nothing for parking. Do not forget to get a map. If you do, capture the one from the entrance for future guidance. The main road (red) will lead you to 2 watterfals, on a easy path, at the base. A second (blue) will get you on top of the waterfalls, at the source, where the caves are also located. You'll have to climb, so wear comfortable shoes and maybe a wind jacket. You can enjoy these hikes with your family, because the difficulty is easy-medium. Just carry some snacks and water. Very nice view of the fall (which is not very tall) if you go directly on the that goes below. Do not choose the that goes above the falls! We did not understand the "map" they gave us at the tickets office (badly printed) and chose this upper variant and got on top of the hill without seeing much of the falls. Nothing special and we were very disappointed because we were with the kids. Up there the was closed and we had to go down using the same path. Only down we took the other ( on the right) and could see the beauty of the Krushuma Falls because you arrive rapidly below the falls. Absolutely stunning waterfalls. In my own opinion best one in Bulgaria. Unfortunately people responsible for the park care about the money only - entrance fee, parking fee, restaurants, pool. All of that destroys the natural beauty of the area. And you don't receive anything as a customer. Trail is closed at most beautiful spots due to lack of safety amenities. Nobody cares to clean the water pools from rotten trees and plastic garbage. Lady at the entrance has no idea what the name of the caves are - She is pointing you a map and that's all. So don't expect more than they. Read a bit of info about the area, the waterfalls, the monks and the caves before your visit as I did. Still stunning place to visit A very beautiful worth visiting place. The clear waters of the falls and rivers and the charming hills and forest leave you in rapture. There is a parking lot on site and a restaurant. It takes about an hour to walk it through, take pictures and appreciate nature's magical powers. Kept clean as well. Beautiful place, great for a light hike. It is well maintained and has great treks. Good for a few hours in the outdoors. Страхотно място. Всеки трябва да го види.
