Very disappointing to find out at the site that the was closed and the centre with the reproduction and demonstration for kids was only open with tickets bought in the town at the information centre. It is a long and beautiful walk up to the centre / (30-45 mins) but we didn’t want to do it twice. Shame that the communications and signs are predominantly in basque then Spanish. The "adventure" tickets allowed us to really learn the details of how prehistoric people made fire, painted caves and improved their spear throwing.
