Turismo bulegoa

Azpeitia, Spain History museum

One of the Best Places To Visits in Zestoa Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. I enjoyed the visit as the replica is very well done and the visit is interesting and extremely didactic, although I do prefer to see real paintings. The guide was friendly and well informed, and explained the decision of the Spanish Basque country's strategy. The building itself and it's location in a natural environment pretty close to the real ones are also praiseworthy. Be aware that the parking is 5 minutes walking from the ticket office, and the office another 10 or so to the replica. Very interesting art, some of the best around. You visit a perfect replica. The tour is very informative. Hard to get to with public transport so double-check the opening hours. Great replica of a with prehistoric wall paintings. They had audio guides in English, and written info in the museum. Still, it's only a set of replicas. It would have been nice to have more information about how those people lived. Very interesting place Interesting visit, but it is just a replica of the paintings in a building. At no time during the visit do you get to see the actual cave, it is closed to the public. Very disappointing to find out at the site that the was closed and the centre with the reproduction and demonstration for kids was only open with tickets bought in the town at the information centre. It is a long and beautiful walk up to the centre / (30-45 mins) but we didn’t want to do it twice. Shame that the communications and signs are predominantly in basque then Spanish. As an English speaker we were struggling with the signage. Fantastic experience! The "adventure" tickets allowed us to really learn the details of how prehistoric people made fire, painted caves and improved their spear throwing. The reproduction was also great and interesting to see. There's also a nice, small museum. And the surrounding countryside is gorgeous!
