The San Bebastian Hall is located at the north end of Alderdi Eder Gardens just south of the Old Town. This is an attractive landmark that was constructed in 1887 as a casino that served as a popular entertainment venue for politicians and the upper echelon of society until the ban on gambling in 1924. It seems the property fell into the hands of the Council in 1947 and continues to serve as Hall to this day. You can conveniently spend a few minutes enjoying the impressive architecture and exterior that quickly reminds one of the Monte Carlo Casino while spending time in the Gardens or before making way into Old Town. Built in 1887 at the Gardens of Alderdi-Eder, next to the Nautical Royal Club, to house the main casino. The opening ceremony was attended by the Queen Maria Christina of Austria. However, it closed as a casino after the ban on gambling in 1924. On January 20, 1945, the council moved to this and turned the former casino the Hall. Beautiful Hall Very nice hall that can be accessed through the nearby gardens. It is a beautiful pedestrian area. Well worth it and very nice. Beautiful building! I did not visit the inside, but truly enjoyed the architecture when I was visiting the beach area of Saint Sebastian. There is a large playground for kids directly in front of the Hall. There are plenty of various to enjoy refreshments and local food as well. Sin duda, el edificio más visible y emblemático de la ciudad Nice architecture and very central location. As a tourist, I can't say it's worth the visit, but it will get your attention if you pass by. Piękny kurort nad Morzem Kantabryjskim.. byłam zachwycona . Merece mucho la pena acercarse para contemplar la fachada. Such big hall and a wonderful piece of architecture. The chandeliers are stunning and the room itself feels historic to be in. The external surroundings are perfectly beautiful with a view overlooking the beach and some really nice gardens. Beautiful and in front of this hall, you will see the green small park which is nice. There is a lot of greenery in front of the building, which only adds charm to the whole building. Its perfect place for moments of rest from the sun. Bicycles nearby. Nice architecture Antiguo casino en plena playa de la concha, bien conservado y bonita arquitectura. Great location start your walk by the beach here from old town. Beautiful views by the boardwalk during sunset San Sebastian is the best in the world if you love food, beer and cozyness. It can be a little busy with tourists at times CADA DIA Q MI PERSONA SALE A LAS CALLES DE DONOSTI,SIEMPRE ES LA MISMA PELICULA,LAS PERSONAS DE SIEMPRE ROBANDO O HACIENDO DE LAS SUYAS,CUANDO VA HACER ALGO EL VOTADO POR ESTA CIUDAD,CUALQUIER PALABRA YA NO SUBEN LA RESEÑA!!! Lovely that has everything. Best food, mountains and beaches. Traffic fine because I parked in a area with wrong ticket. Officer took the car to the deposit because was a "foreigner car". With locals they just put the fine. All this explained by the officer himself. Will never come back again as the way they treat tourists is unacceptable. One of our favorite spots in Donostia was hall. Close to the old town. Almost on the La concha beach. Have nice seats and a garden to sit at and look at. We enjoyed looking at Hall & really admired the construction of this gorgeous place. I definitely recommend to go to hall! Terrible parking system. Payment online doesn’t work. Many totems aren’t functioning properly throughout the city. Signs are confusing and hard to understand, making tourists waste time. It was very beautiful and impressive but every restaurant sells only tapas other than may other typical Spanish dishes. We were still hungry even after we ate some tapes.🤣 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
