This place pretty uphills (great views on sunny days, up to the sea in Zarautz) is a place to try out local food at a reasonable price. A very good price quality match here. Mostly Spanish people and little tourist, it's a huge place with a huge parking. The place has a terrace but only for the drinks or coffee or seems. Portions are pretty huge but in comparison to many places where you draw back on quality I must say that here all dishes were really delicious. The mixed fritura dish is and huge as well. One is more than enough to share amongst at least 4 people. The prawns are well done and the meat was just lovely, cooked in the perfect way. Muchas gracias. This is a MUST VISIT restaurant , (Cider house) amazing food and service. Easy, take a taxi from anywhere in town, €15 the most. A unique chance to experience Basque Grill ! We came on a Saturday evening and it was marvelous !! The place is not touristic at all. We enjoyed both the pork chops and the steak along with some lettuce salad. We were initially going to have the set menu but they only do this until 1 pm so we just chose something off the main menu. We had the chiperones which were delicious and then we had the tail of the meluza which was devine followed by the chocolate coulant. The wine was delicious and a price. The service was friendly and we thoughrally enjoyed our meal there and will definitely return in the future.
