We have been here 2014. I am always interested in cold war relics like this. There are still other bunkers of this type in poland, but they are left open and became ruins. This one is a real jem because everything look like an russian soldier just comes around in a minute. Everything is nice and tidy. Took my geiger counter with me here, no worries, everything is clean or has been decontaminated. Our guides were friendly and gave lots of information, on polish. But I had my translator with me. Same structures still in east germany. If you are in the region please dont miss borne sulinowo. I was looking forward to this museum but I was very disappointed. So far the most expensive museum we have visited. With no English translation, we were given a couple of sheets of paper explaining the exhibits. The was only in Polish, and seemed more fun as the other tourists were laughing at times. It was a 1 hour and the first 45 minutes the guide was talking and then we were shown the rest of the rooms in such a rush it spoiled the tour. Surely with the technology we have today there could be more in English,we can't be the only English speaking tourists. Interesting site. This is the place where nukes were stockpiled in Poland during the cold world. Unfortunately, the museum was closed when I was here. But it's still worth a visit. Information in english and the fact that only 12 people knew of this sites existence makes it even more impressive. Super miejscówkami kawał dobrej i ciekawiej historii.Pan przewodnik duża wiedza odprowadzanie z ,"jajem". Pozdrowienia od turystów z Lęborka.(Ci co podzurach jechali😀). I expected it to be 8n the middle of no where which it was, I didn't expect there to be no road to it though! It was a nightmare. After 7miles of basically off reading i got there and it was CLOSED!! The opening times where stated online and at the entrance. I called and had to leave a message. About turn back out the worst road ever for me! Who knows whats inside! Me and my partner had an excellent experience visiting this place and it opened our eyes seeing how close we were to total devastation! guide was also very excellent. Thank You 😃 Bardzo ciekawe i klimatyczne miejsce związane z pobytem na ziemiach polskich naszych "braci" z wschodu. Przewodnik bardzo miły ciekawie opowiada o obiekcie :) Truly worth your while to discover a piece of the mystery puzzle. If you're nearby give them a call and ask for visit day and time. One visit is about 40 minutes, you have to arrive 10 minutes early and take a jacket. Located out in the woods along a small concrete road you come across a little parking area with a very imposing steel door hiding in the trees. Very few people outside of those who manned this nuclear warhead storage and launch bunker knew of its existence. A very interesting led by an ex Polish soldier. Only Polish is spoken but there is a written information sheet in English which is good. Unchanged since it was abandoned by the Soviet Union in 1989 it's a chilling reminder of the realities of the cold War era especially when you see the original map showing the battle plans to attack Nato in Western Europe and where they planned to launch the Nuclear warheads. Well worth a visit. Great experience, guy knows a lot and bunker is very well kept. Did you know the Warsaw Pact stored nukes in Poland? Well this is the bunker where most of them were. Miejsce zrobiło na mnie wrażenie. Szczególnie zapamiętam przewodnika, który z pasją i humorem opowiadał o historii tego miejsca i eksponatach. Czas spędzony z przyjemnością. Polecam wszystkim. Such an interesting place . Well worth the drive to learn about our past . We waited for an hour for the and only when it started we realize that the would be in Polish (we are not Polish), we were not informed about this in advance. We asked the administrator if there would be a in English, she said yes and brought us paper booklets in English :D It is definitely not worth wasting time on a place where even the descriptions of the museum exhibits are only in Polish :/ Serdecznie polecam, pod względem historycznym ważny punkt do odwiedzenia na mapie zachodniopomorskiego. Przewodnik rzeczowy, konkretny, ogro.na wiedza. Polecam. Super miejsce. Super przewodnik, ekstra miejsce. Polecam fanatykom militariów. 💯💯 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
