Absolutely delicious food and incredibly service! The meatballs and Tave Familjare were nothing short of spectacular. We were recommended this place by our accommodation, and it truly exceeded our expectations! Restorant FAMILJARI is an older with roots dating back to the 1970s when it was a state-run establishment under communism. The beautiful wall murals inside the are from that era, adding a unique historical charm. When you visit, I highly asking about its history to fully appreciate the atmosphere. The food was fantastic, as all the other reviews attest, so I won’t elaborate much on that. Just know that it’s true: the food is truly excellent! The staff speaks English and makes you feel warmly welcomed from the moment you step in. The host is service-minded, helpful, and has a sense of humor. He even made some jokes at our son's expense, which quickly created a relaxed and happy atmosphere. We were a family of four: two adults and two children, aged 11 and 14. The was very accommodating, understanding the adults' desire for flavorful dishes and the children's preference for simpler tastes (parents will know what I mean). I fully this place. When you visit, be a bit curious about its history for the best experience. Nice place to stay. But the was terrible. We had to wait for 30 minutes to order a drink. After 90 minutes still no food. The was half full. So no excuses Trip advisor advisor give high score. Not correct. Food and taste are good. So make up your mind. food, bad or eat elsewhere Just go. I could write about the mind blowing baked feta or the cozy environment or Mario’s or any of the other things that made this dinner amazing, but in the end you really just need to it for yourself. So do yourself a favor and just go. absolutely the WORST we've received so far in Albania. The waiter(young man) behaved as if we owe him money. Half the items on the menu were not available. The pie we order was totally burned(see photo), the dessert we ordered seemed it was straight out of a jar. No card payment either, only cash. If it wasn't for my family, I would have walked out of this immediately before ordering anything. Overall, a very bad experience. I DO NOT recommend. Food was delicious! is amazing! We came with a kid with milk allergy and they provided many options. The food justified the prices, it could have been a little expensive at first but when the order arrives everything is fine, plenty of food and very tasty. After a road trip through Albania, we can safely say we had the best meal here. It was so we went back the next day.
