Worthwhile to when you are like 1 hour away by car. In July there is not a lot of to swim deep but you can dip into the water. Take your shoes or accept your normal walking shoes get wet. It is a nice into the to have beautiful views. It is truly amazing..best time is in the morning, around 13H it is getting busier, but it is not crowded at all. Parking is easy and a 10 minutes nice walk. The drive up to here by car is perfect, no issues with the roads. All in perfect condition. Amazing place, still not so touristic but will change in few years, hot baths are nice but the best thing is a in the canion, this is something extraordinary, please remember about sandals and some to drink cause it takes at least one hour to go one way, but it is fully worth it!! Raods there are narrow, quite overcrowded and the hot springs aren’t really hot. Still quite nice and some caves/bunkers to explore. Easy 200lek parking, looks like they are developing it a lot which will attract loads of tourists in the future. We hiked up the canyon. The tour is approx 12 km and has amazing views. Don’t expect to much from the hot springs. The warmest are around 28 C so it gets chilly as soon as the sun is set. You leave the car at the parking lots before the river. We paid 200 ALK for the whole day. Than we entered the midday, the baths were full so we continoued further on the river. Quickly you get embraced by the rocks as you walk. At the begining there is plenty of visitors which than slowly decrease in numbers. By about half hour you stay alone and enjoy the walls by yourself. The continoues and after two smaller side streams come in it becomes just so much more interesting. In places it gets so narrow so you can almost touch both sides at the same time. The was shallow, never more than knee deep. We came out at the second bridge by hydroplant (to our huge disappointment), and returned via well seen path back. I recommend to take whole day for this, we walked abput 4h upstream - with lunch, stops and 2h on the path back. The part is not slippery but good shoes or sandals are needed, and stones sometimes move, so you should watch your step. Do not enter the narrow parts if you after the rain. Don't just stop at the thermal baths - the is the real gem! 🏞️🚶♂️ If you've come to see the historic Kadiu Bridge and take a dip in the thermal waters, you absolutely must take a into the Lengarica itself. The entrance, marked on Google Maps, is located near the last of the thermal pools. We heard that the most persistent hikers can reach beautiful waterfalls deep inside, but due to the late hour, we only ventured about 20 minutes into the canyon. However, even that short was enough to be amazed by the beauty of the high walls and the incredible play of light. It's a truly spectacular experience and, for us, was the real highlight of the visit. Don't miss it! (Exploring the was a magical experience, even with limited time. It was a perfect addition to our to the thermal baths on our 2025 Albanian road trip. See the full journey in my review of Skanderbeg Square in Tirana!) Fantastic place to 🤩. We parked one night by the but parked the second night in a car park next to a restaurant. We had a super meal and walked along the to the bridge. Was a true highlight to our Albanian visit. Incredible experience!! Bring sneakers or shoes and a bathing suit. You can back through the for a few miles. For a miserable window into the impact of unchecked tourism, look no further. If it weren’t so depressing, it would be funny to watch the many two-wheel-drive sedans and hatchbacks attempt the journey up the riverbed, to save the 3 minutes they would otherwise have to from the parking area, as they try to park within feet of the bridge and pool. You’ll encounter dozens of people staggering up the in flip flops and swim shorts, smeared in mud, whistling loudly for their friends. It’s something to witness but it’s not peaceful. It’s currently a gigantic building site, with outflows directly into the river, and it looks like there will be literally hundreds of parking spaces when it’s done. A haunting prospect. One additional star for the nature, because I think it must have been magical once. Maybe in winter, or at dawn, some of that magic remains. It was gone when we were there. Great place. Don't hesitate to further up the canyon. There are more smaller pools that are cozy and less crowded than the first big one at the bridge. Incredible! The is the highlight, walking through the water, each corner has interest. The baths are ok but keep walking past and you will have the place to yourself if you arrive early. One of our best experiences in Albania. Keep walking!
