I recently rehomed Saffron from Blue Cross Burford - the was seamless with good communication throughout - Saffron's wellbeing was at the centre of the and there was full disclosure about everything We recently adopted two kittens, newly named Bilbo and Oreo, who are happily settling in and finding great joy in playing (and occasionally destroying our furnishings!). The Blue Cross team has been amazing throughout the entire process. Every staff member we interacted with was knowledgeable and passionate about their work. From the initial enquiry to the final adoption, everything was clearly explained and made easy. The caring and supportive environment at Blue Cross shines through in the health and happiness of our new kittens. Thank you for everything! Highly recommend. We went to burford to enquire about the of rescuing a cat. We had a really good conversation with them and explained our life. They took the time to understand and matched us with a lovely called Oscar. He has already settled in well on his first day and very good with our children. Thank you for a very painless experience and I will recommend you highly! Blue cross have been non judgemental unlike some rescue centre can be and matched us perfectly. Everyone at the Burford location was absolutely lovely! They were happy to answer any questions I had, and gave me constant updates regarding Parrot’s spaying, vaccines, and other vet checkups before we were able to bring her home. It’s only been one week since we brought her home, but she’s now a confident little running the show, and has adapted VERY well to her new home, and is obsessed with our resident cat. I’d be more than happy to recommend Blue Cross Burford to any friends and family wanting to adopt a pet, and will likely come back here first if we want our furry family to grow more in the future! We recently adopted Sue through Blue Cross, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, they called us and took the time to explain everything about Sue—her behaviour, health, and full medical history. When we arrived, they welcomed us warmly, let us spend time playing with Sue, and answered all of our questions. They also shared helpful tips to make sure she settled in comfortably. Sue is now very happy in her new home, and we already can’t imagine life without her. We’re so grateful for the care and dedication the team showed throughout the adoption process. I truly hope more people choose to adopt and support amazing organisations like Blue Cross. Every animal deserves a loving family, and with the right support, the adoption journey can be a beautiful one. I found all the staff at the Blue Cross Burford to be extremely helpful, organised and they offered lots of useful advice on how to deal with our new and prepare our for him. While we are seasoned cat adopters this was the first time rehoming a with existing cats in the household and their advice was invaluable. What also really struck me is how committed they all seemed and how much they genuinely cared for each and every animal. When there was an issue with one we were due to adopt they explained the situation and advised us carefully. Leo, the we finally rehomed was in a really good place when we got him home, trained, sociable and happy! We appreciate there's a lot of work that goes into getting cats and kittens ready for rehoming and hats off! A model kitten! Best experience to date of dealing with a rehoming charity and can't thank you all enough! I recently rehomed Budsie from the Blue Cross. The whole was supportive, caring and helpful. Any concerns I had were addressed straight away and I felt the welfare of Budsie was always top priority. Nearly 3 weeks ago we brought Del Boy, a 12 yr old beauty. He has settled in so quickly, worked out where the fridge is (with the treats!) and stolen the hearts of anyone who has come into our home!. The Blue Cross ladies gave us prompt and accurate information about him; they were efficient and professional and obviously in love with our boy! He loves being stroked on his tummy and is very gentle. All he needs now is to go out and bring us back some presents! Thank you to the Blue Cross.
