Very good motor museum, lots of vehicles packed into a relatively small space. Some nice sub collections of models and bits n pieces too. About 25 mins walk from Calne town centre. After edit : Allow minimum 2 hours visit time. Ideally 3-4 hours. Great vehicle with lots to see. Annual family pass is great value at only £40. Can't wait to go back. Drinks and ice creams are available and they are hoping to open a cafe soon 👍 We were there as it was the destination of a car club event. We would not drive the 80 miles to Calne just to see it. I really loved the museum, catering was basic. We made do with a packet of biscuits and a paper cup of tea. Which was OK. The exhibits are fascinating, everything from a 2003 Ford Focus to a Williams FW10 driven by Nigel Mansel. If you like historic you will enjoy it. I wasn't expecting much from a small but it's honestly a TARDIS. A great collection of with a few bikes too. Staff were friendly and helpful. A few things there you'd never expect to see in a lesser known like 2 f1 so that took me by surprise! and vintage vibe draped throughout and the smell of classic vehicles is also beautifully strong. Most did have windows down which was probably for airflow but I found I could actually get photos of the interior without the frustration of glass reflection making it impossible to get the shot. It's bigger than you'd think, with more to see than you think and I've found it to definitely be worthy of a visit. I've been to many motor museums (kind of my thing) and this is definitely recommended. Fairly priced too. Firstly the staff and director were lovely, really friendly and helpful and going beyond to Assist your day. They have a small cafe, toilets, plenty of parking and the space to walk around were perfect. The are great and varied, you got close to the and the whole atmosphere was positive. They had on loan from Wallace and gromit along with 2 formula one which shows that professional bodies are comfortable with their abilities to look after their investments. Took us about 2 hours to look around and another 30 minutes for 2 coffee breaks. Fantastic little family run motor a absolute must to visit they even have some classic f1 along with a wide range of classic on display. And the runs a bunch of events through the year. Recently participated in there annual classic car show it was a great day out. Fantastic with a lot more packed in than you would think from the outside or a simple search. So many interesting vehicles in this collection and information on every one. Staff were very friendly and informative. All round a fantastic experience. Excellent small car museum. A few motorcycles and a lot of toy etc. The volunteer helpers were helpful and informative. Our 7 year old grandson loved it and the history of how it all started was very interesting.
