Really a great place for the whole family. Lots to learn and experience. Very friendly staff. It was not crowded when we have been there. Our daughter asked to go back after having been there last year. Et besøg vejr. Fin fortælling, og flot udstilling. Very interesting place. We enjoyed the Trip... Great place for History Only go when the workshops are active (summer i guess) - and best when the weather is nice. We tried the canoe! ;o) the area is beautiful. I find it expensive since we had to pay extra for shooting arrows. A few more FREE activities would really add to the experience - the staff is friendly and like to tell about the stone age life. Passionated staff, great little missions for kids to keep entertained, learned a lot, tried a lot, and probably need to come back to enjoy it some more and get the full Ertebølle age history. Nice to meet guests using off-road handicapped chairs while we could easily use a child wagon. Accessible and interesting for the whole family, at any age. It is a good place to get details about the stoneage in Denmark. It is a place for the whole family as it provides activities for kids. My grandchildren liked it. A good place if you are interested in how the ages (stone, bronze...) developed. You also have the opportunity to see a real flintsmith working and you can have a good lecture by him on how to make weapons out of flint. It was a great and different experience. A hidden gem! This place is beautiful and educative. There are a lot of activities and experiences to do. I highly recommend it for a cozy day off :-) Fantastic open air museum with indoor exhibition. Motivated staff and guides explain and show you the life of the various stone age cultures from NW-Europe, including flint workshops to create arrowheads and other tools, rowing in a carved canoe, .... During our visit the skin of a roadkill badger (:( ) was cleaned for the open air expedition. This place runs on very motivated staff/volunteers with strong scientific background. A must-see place of heritage in DK. Super great, barely expensive! Tolles Museum, vorallem bei gutem Wetter. Danke:) Lovely place, amazing view, plus the sheep, the huts and the people there make the place even better. But let me tell you about the history you learn... Naah, just visit the place and see for yourself, and go take a bath in the fjord afterwards;).
