We tried their cepelinai and kugelis, both served with a side of rich mushroom sauce and crispy spirgai (bacon bits)—absolutely delicious. The kugelis (NOT plokštainis!!!!) was the real highlight: cooked overnight in a wood-burning fireplace using old, traditional methods that give it deep flavor and perfect texture. Every bite felt like a warm hug from your Lithuanian grandma. You can tell this place takes pride in preserving authentic recipes. The menu also includes comforting dishes like balandėliai and hearty sriuba (soup), all made with love and care. Whether you're craving a nostalgic meal or just want to experience real Lithuanian comfort food, Magdė is worth the stop. Good food, unique atmosphere, quick service, and that unbeatable fireplace-cooked flavors make it a rare find. Highly recommend! We found this just off the A1 road to Klaipeda. We did not know what to expect but the place was marvellous. The food was good, the service was excellent and the place itself is nteresting (like a log cabin).
