A very steep but fairly short to a breath taking place. One should definitely go there and enjoy the view and the nature. Bring some picnic, sit down, relax and enjoy the sounds of bells from the nearby farms. If it wasn't getting colder I would have spent more time there. Unlike other comments, we were surprised by the ease of this ! It's a one-hour walk with 2/3 slightly steep climbs but doable. Even in the snow ! (February 18) ⛰️The view is very impressive and the is well worth it ! 🛥️Ferries leave from Stavanger, ask Kolombus for your round trip A nice place to stop for a break. We parked at the supermarket and didn’t pay even though there was a ticket machine – probably meant for tourist. There’s a charming little path leading up, easy to walk without much effort. At the top, you’re rewarded with peaceful surroundings and beautiful views. Pretty nice hike, perfectly signposted and can be managed with a good fitness level. In my opinion a good alternative to the fully crowded Preikestolen. I can recommend when going back down taking the additional route to Stølanuten (577m). Good track with an also very impressive view. A difficult, physically demanding uphill climb. Make sure to bring water and perhaps some snacks. It was definitely a that required a lot of endurance, but the views and the feeling of freedom at the end were truly worth it. Unreal! Easily accessible good viewpoint and “instagramable” photo place. After fixing the assess trail into gravel road it turned into very UNpleasant for ankles and knees so beware. Is it top 10 views in Norway? Too early to say for me, but for sure it is 5-star place. Walk uphill wasnt easy in high sun, but totaly worth to see that view and stay in "small Trolltunga". Paid parking near Joker shop. It’s like a mini Trolltunga! No words needed, amazing place. Hiking was so so, we started our walk from a forest and couldn’t find a way to Himakånå, so through a forest we found a way to that basic road and it was so boring all the way up to Himakånå and we were thankful that we come through the forest instead of basic route.
