Came here for lunch as part of the select box package that was gifted to us. It included two course and a drink. The food was ok and the wine was fine but nothing special. The food is all seasonal and this time it was a courgette soup and the main was a pork dish. We weren’t given too much explanation as to what else was on the plate and the desert was nice but we weren’t given any options. Not sure if this is just the type of service you get with these types of packages. There are better experiences around.. We had cycling trip in this area from Finland. This was so nice place, beatiful nature, friendly people, exellent dinner, really tasty breakfast, full of local tastes. The room was big and very clean. We would really recommend this place. We are cycling through Slovenia and loved this night's stop! The hotel is beautiful. The owners are delightful. And the peaceful setting gave us the rest we needed to continue our journey. Be sure to take advantage of the wine tasting and the delicious dinner at the restaurant below the restaurant. Highly recommend! We had a great stay here while cycling south through Slovenia. Room was spacious and clean. The family and team who run it produce top quality local food. Very enjoyable meal (with cool background music by Tomaž Pengov). We also had an informative wine tasting with really enjoyable wines produced locally.
