Good food made of home products (meat and vegetables), excellent wines, great atmosphere and really cordial staff (owner took us on a guided tour of the village). There's no parking nearby. We visited as part of a wine tour from Ljubljana, a beautiful village and a stunning venue for a wine tasting. The owner(and daughter) were very welcoming. The wine is amazing, and the charcuterie board was delicious. I highly recommend a visit. The owner even invited my mate and his wife to come and pick grapes later this year. Excellent host. Great hospitality and even more amazing food and drinks. If you value home atmosphere this is definitely a place to visit. An Unforgettable Lunch After a Special Day On the occasion of a reunion of 15 classmates from the Bocconi Master’s program, after visiting the stunning Postojna Caves, we had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at this timeless and charming restaurant. The experience was flawless in every respect. The menu, arranged in advance with the kitchen, included four courses (starter, first course, main course, and side dish), accompanied by excellent wines, dessert, and coffee. Everything was handled with great care, warm hospitality, and outstanding flexibility — including thoughtful accommodations for our vegetarian guests. The food impressed everyone with its authenticity and simplicity, featuring genuine flavors and truly high-quality ingredients. A special mention goes to the wine — surprisingly good — and to the exquisite homemade Cognac, a real gem that capped off the meal. A memorable experience, perfectly suited to the occasion. Highly recommended! Came here in the pouring rain and it was truly the most special place. The owners were so kind and served us the most delicious veggie platter. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. The staff seemed overwhelmed managing our group of ten, and the wines weren’t enjoyable. The whole place felt quite touristy and lacked genuine passion. I would not recommend it. Once in a lifetime experience. The host welcomes you with open arms and takes you around a trip in his house. The food is delicious and the atmosphere enchanting. His selfmade wine, meats and homegrown vegetables are amazing. 10/10 - would recommend.
