Had a VIP invitation to watch a performance by two Greek artists at the 🎭, by a good friend of mine. The organisation was excellent the itself part of Nicosia's and Cyprus cultural legacy at its best glamour. The scene, sound and lighting were all as expected to be to provide a pleasant experience. ♿ Accessibility was very good and the artists so good that people gave them an extended standing ovation. The only problem in the area is the parking. If you don't go early enough one may need to walk a bit to park. A beautiful theatre,the chairs are comfortable and easy to see the stage even if a tall person sits inside you ,clean and maintain One of the very organized and beautiful place in Nicosia , Cyprus should be proud to have such remarkable facility The view of details and expressions is not good from the back seats or the balcony. The acoustic quality is quite good. I didn't really like the atmosphere. The staff was kind and helpful. And finally, the toilets are not enough for the audience. It was a heartwarming experience in Nicosia Municipal ,having a director so encouraging ,I do not get to see this all the time. I want to come back again with more beautiful productctive works . Don’t let the “Municipal” in the name mislead you—this is a truly state-of-the-art venue with excellent acoustics and exceptionally comfortable seating. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing performers like Dara Ó Briain, Bill Bailey, Jeff Arcuri, and Jim Jefferies here, as well as attending full-day and multi-day events such as the Digital Agenda Cyprus conference. Highly recommended. Beautiful but they were stingy with the air conditioning. It's HOT in Cyprus for most of the year and the was full on 31st May. We were watching comedian Romesh Ranganathan and we were dripping with sweat the whole time. And to make things worse, the concession stand didn't have cold water. I visited on 2/9/25 for a comedy evening featuring Jim Jefferies. The exceeded all of my expectations. The seats are by far the largest and most comfortable I have ever seen in a theatre. There was plenty of room. My arms did not touch the people either side of me the whole evening. I can compare them to businesses class on a flight compared to the economy class seats I find in most other theatres. The refreshments where reasonably priced and it was a pleasant experience.
