The zoo is actually quite big - we thought we came for a short time, but spent here 1.5 hrs. And some species I didn’t see anywhere else. Will be interesting for small kids, parents and teenagers as well! 😍 The zoo steadily improves from year to year! It has many species which are kept in good condition and bring joy to the visitors. The zoo is very well equipped, has a café and benches along the pathways to relax and watch the animals. We always spend a whole day there and want to return more. Thank you very much for these wonderful moments! Really nice contact Zoo. We have visited this place so many times and we will visit it again and again. Our little ones just love to feed :). The entrance fee is reasonable, food for can be bought for just 1 Eur, food in the restaurant is good, and there is a large playground too. You can easily spend all afternoon there. The best Zoo in Cyprus! Visiting this zoo was quite a sad experience. Alot of in this zoo such as lions, tigers, bears, caracals…etc are kept in small cages. Wild that require space and freedom to roam shouldn’t be kept in such small spaces, its animal cruelty. We have also seen a few that were visibly unwell which was also sad. I really hope they find a solution for this issue so that people can experience these beautiful without putting their happiness and wellbeing into jeopardy This is not good luckily my children are too small to see anything but the lovely animals, they are lovely being kept in poor conditions. Greeted by a camel with horrific eye problem he couldn’t even open them. Overcrowding, injury’s and clear sickness in the bird enclosure. Large in small cages with nothing in them. People feeding lettuce to that don’t eat lettuce. You can get up to the cages with the lions, bears and bob cats. Overall a sad experience it was good and had nice things to see. But some wild should be held in better and bigger cages and places, if the zoo can't afford that, don't have large wild animals, or make your prices higher I think a lot of people are willing to pay more but to see them in better condition. Or rearrange the park with smaller and easier to keep animals, it will still be very interesting to visit The most horrible experience of visiting a zoo. I witnessed a bleeding animal and unfortunately there was not a single employee in the entire zoo to whom I could turn for help. I had to call the number listed on the website and report the incident. But even after I reported it, none of the employees came to help the poor animal. When I left the zoo, I saw a zoo employee and showed him a photo asking him to help the animal immediately , but he simply smiled and said thank, and continued doing his business. I highly not recommend to visit this place, if you don’t want to see the in terrible conditions. this place is DISGUSTING, the are all in poor health and condition. there are no zoo keepers looking after the animals. One of the lemur’s hands had been broken or cut but it was definitely bleeding, no one did a thing. The all were stuffed in one cage with little shade or water in 40 degree heat. The birds had all plucked their feathers out due to stress and carnivores were given lettuce to eat. Please DO NOT give any money to these people and cause more pain and damage to these poor animals.
