Went during December, met with a lovely, warm welcome. The lady who greeted us was so lovely and explained everything really well to us, what happens if we a hint etc. We really the visit and some hints and some glasses evidently 😂 Definitely recommend; it's a fun group activity! Very good with lots of themed options , and difficulty levels . This is my 2nd visit with my brothers family and have both that we played ( wizardry , and area 51 ) . We did manage to get out both times , but only with a few minutes to spare . were well detailed , with a variety of challenges . Good friendly and reasonably priced . First of an room. Really it, using your brain is a nice change. The went so quick, they say it does when your having fun. Would definitely go again. There was only 2 of us and we struggled figuring out some bits and the gamemaster was brilliant they even gave us some extra hints when we really close to solving it and even allowed us to have a bit of extra so that we could complete it (it took us 10 mins). I can not fault it in any way. Amazing experience. Bob the host was fantastic from the moment we walked through the door, he went above & beyond to make the truly immersive. Sherlock did make things tricky but we had a fantastic time, great puzzles and brilliant theming. One of the best experiences we’ve had. Highly this place! We will be returning. Thank you so much! Really good puzzles and our game master Rob was great. Thoroughly it and will be back again to try the other rooms! Absolutely amazing at Stoke for our son's 18th birthday! One of the locks was broken, the cards are damaged and the money was non-existent. Some of the keys do not work at all. The end of the was very anti-climactic. The two gentleman working did not offer clues when we asked and we ended up waiting 5 minutes for a clue. When the clue finally arrived it was for a section we had already completed. We still managed to but a few updates would really benefit the overall experience. I have completed numerous escape/breakout and this was by far my least favourite due to the condition of the room. Fantastic day at stoke, we were originally going to go to paralysis but after no calls being answered we decided to go to stoke. Karl was out host and he was a fantastic games master for taken, only helped up when we really it! Unfortunately we never got our but we got close! Thanks again well be back soon i'm sure! 😅 We attended Stoke to do the witchcraft and wizardry and I can say it's one of the I've most. I've escaped 15+ and the puzzles in this were so much fun. The host (I can't remember his name) was by far the kindest host, and he clearly gave his full attention to the and experience. He was there straight away with hints/clues if we (we had two) and really immersive. I will 100% be back - next we come to Alton towers, we will stop on the way back. So much fun. Had a fantastic on the 27th with Robert running Area 51. Arrived a little late, and we still got in the with our full hour. Was very helpful with the tips when we needed, and helped us out a few times unprovoked which was super appreciated. Also incredibly patient with my phone acting up, and having to take a second set of pictures at the end! It's my second visit now and both have been great here. Andy and Karl were great they made it a good laugh we went here to celebrate with our work mates. Both myself and my partner often do and we have only ever used Stoke, would highly recommend. It’s a little pricey but completely understandable with how much hard work clearly goes into creating the and the immersive that comes with it. I can’t remember the name of our GM, but he was both lovely and professional he gave us clues when we asked and when they were most definitely needed. I let him know when I arrived that I am pregnant, and he was very considerate throughout the especially to only spook my partner and not me, much to my absolute delight! Would this for anyone wanting to try something different. Will definitely be returning in the future. Had an amazing couple of hours thanks to Rob and Andy, made it out of Witchcraft & Wizardry with a of 53:17, and were given a 10% discount for a second of the day. We chose the Da Vinci and escaped with a of 47:25. Will definately be coming back as I've always had a wonderful at Stoke. Thank you to all members of staff, especially Rob and Andy, for making the so incredible every 💙 This offered an excellent balance of challenge and enjoyment. The puzzles were engaging without being overly frustrating. The was further enhanced by the helpful staff. Robert in particular provided excellent assistance and guidance. We highly this room. Me and my friend have just done the pirates game and it was amazing! Connor (I think is his name) was brilliant, clear and engaging even with all my jokes. I hope we entertained you!
