I hadn't been to The Gatehouse since I was a child and had absolutely no memories of what it was like inside. It's fantastic!!!! It's only a small theatre, but it's lovely and open. The bar areas are really nice too. The are brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they all just really and helpful. I need to start booking more tickets!!! Super evening at the Gatehouse last Friday and the ELO show. venue, first here and everyone was really helpful and friendly. May 29th 2025 The Take That Experience were here and this was our first seeing them. Firstly there was the three of them getting the off to fabulous Start, then Robbie Williams came on and did his thing .After the break the original five members took to the stage performing hit after hit . They came out and mingled with the crowd who were singing and dancing with them . I highly recommend this band they are full of energy and damn good at what they do . We will definitely be seeing them again May 8th 2025 Evita was tonight's entertainment and what a treat was in store . Peron, Che ,Magaldi and of course Evita were all tremendous. Michelle Handley was truly outstanding playing the main character, her acting and vocals on a parr with Elaine Paige and would not be out of place in the West End . Everyone on the stage was superb and the sell out crowd loved it. We of course were in floods of tears at the end of the performance such was the magnitude of the show April 18th 2025 I'm every Whitney had the place jumping from the notes of the very first song . Keisha is superb ,close your eyes and you would think Whitney was in the room . Backed by a superb band the audience were taken on a remarkable journey of hits and more. The songs were belted out and every note hit to perfection The flew by and everyone enjoyed there night. Thank you Keisha for a fab evening March 5th 2025 Another remarkable performance from Karl Loxley . A full house were thoroughly entertained. He has certainly done well for himself since being on the Voice. As always the at this venue are excellent. There is a bar area if you fancy a tipple. Street parking is available, which is good 👍 Did not have a chance to attend any play but the list looks very impressive! Went to The Met Studio, which is a great, intimate space. The Gatehouse generally is welcoming, bright and has lovely staff. There's a comfortable cafe/bar. band, loved the show, but ruined by 3 stupid female millennials sat behind us talking all the time, two of which had laughs like hyenas, brain dead moron's, you can't even sit in an audience these days and just listen to the band, I've never in my life wanted so much to punch somebody in the face as I much as I did tonight, Paid good money and had the evening ruined. by these idiots sat behind us, won't be going back anytime soon,😡😡😡 venue. What a little theatre. And the Elvis tribute was super. Well what a surprise this turned out to be, it doesn't look very large from the outside but it is certainly surprising once you enter. The show, cast & adaptation was brilliant. We had a time. The only downside side was the house music prior to the starting. Whoever organised it either hasn't got much idea what Rock of Ages is about, or hasn't seen it before in Theatre. Usually music from that era is played to get the audience into the before it starts.
