Interesting place with loads of fresh produce growing inside the polytunnels, but also outside (kitchen/herb garden, orchard...). Judging by the outside it looks like it is very child friendly. Nice staff. Gardeners Paradise. The Organic Center has a huge variety of veg, flowers, herbs and fruiting trees spread over outdoor grow spaces and tidy poly tunnels. Lots of space for kids to explore and some swings to entertain them. Great value for plants and garden accessories to be had in the shop. Even on a drab day in July the place is a ray of sunshine 🌞. We’ll be back. Perfectly positioned organic center located just a the foot of the mountain and well sign posted. Beautiful gardens with wild grass paths and seating for you to enjoy the wild open spaces. The organic center has a wonderful tea room ( ingredients supplied from there own garden's) and has a large selection of seeds , books , cards, sweet treats , eco laundry refill goods . Astonishingl location and excellent access to polly tunnels where an abundance of organic crops, plants and flowers are tended by expert and friendly staff. Sadly, the only downside is that the wonderful chef, Matthew, has recently left so no longer an option for delicious lunches etc. I was really looking forward to visiting, but unfortunately it was a huge letdown. I travelled an hour to get there, only to find that the had barely anything on the shelves and the café wasn’t even open. On top of that, the staff were unfriendly, which made the experience even more disappointing. If you work in customer service, it’s important to actually be welcoming and able to deal with customers.
