Aplinka sutvarkyta. Pastatas sutvarkytas. Prieplauka salia. Dvaras nelankomas kaip dvaras. Viduje biblioteka. Grazus parkas pasivaikscioti The most famous owner of this modest one-story manot house and a park surrounding it, which was built in the classicist style in the mid-18th century, was Marshal of Poland Jozef Pilsudski. The Pikeliškių manor homestead, standing on a small hill on the northern coast of a lake, is recognized as an architectural and landscape monument of local significance. In 1930-1934 it belonged to Pilsudski, it was only his summer residence. However, Polish leaders and foreign ministers often came to it to figure out state affairs. After Pilsudski's death, the estate did not remain in the family's possession for a long time - in 1940 it was nationalized by the Soviets. Today, the Pikeliškių manor house has been restored and houses a library, a structural division of the Central Library of the Vilnius District Municipality. The manor house is small, there are a couple of surviving outbuildings, at least one of which is inhabited today. Not a very impressive place, but interesting to see because of its famous owner to satisfy thee we curiosity. Beautifull place No step inside Great place to visit extreamlly friendly owner Hi folks. Visiting on weekday, nice place, newly refurbished, part of library in there. Nice place for walk, free parking. Recomend. Beautiful place at the lake, the manor needs some renovation 🙂 Good looking building, the library has good books. Nice lake view, old park always closed. nothing special just renovated Pilsudski manor with kind-a-park by the lake. The place gas nothing else than just a public office of information (which is closed early and does not works on usual tike when people come - after work and weekends). No cafeteria or antrhing. The garden is clean and neat but rather simple. Nice but nothing special.
