They were a bit on the slow slide with drinks, but the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is so it didn't really matter. And the was fire. Great for a fun, upbeat night out where you can still have a conversation with your friends. If you want to sip gin cocktails, listen to and keep up with the beat later in the night, Sanatorija is always at the top of the list. Us because one of us was 22 and they only let in from the age of 23… maybe some have opposite experiences? There are many places. Came here with a group of locals. The let all my Lithuanian friends in the bar but I am Asian and was not allowed in. If you read through the reviews multiple had a similar experience because they don't look a certain way. Still going strong at 4 am. The bar is a cool place, is good, and as well. But they really need to change the security guy! He is rude and I think a racist as well. We were let in the bar and had some fun. We went out for 10min to have some cigarette and when we came back he said just no. You can not enter..... Awfull guys working :))) I am from Latvia. Im from Indian origin and brown. Went there with some locals the day before all was fine, then went solo the next day and was refused entrance by the bouncer. I knew something was wrong as he was allowing other behind me to come in. I why and he said 'no comments'. After a while I passed by and saw another and I just entered and he didn't say anything. I ordered and explained what just happened to the waiter and to speak to the manager. Whatever I ordered when it come to paying was on the house as they knew they messed up I suppose. I said nicely that 'it doesn't work like that' and I wanna pay but I just want to know why I was refused entrance in the lst instance. Then the 1st came and me to come outside, I went outside and the manager came and apologized. She mentioned that I can finish my order outside but can't come in. I why and said that I was rude. To my surprise I was never rude as I simply and diplomatically for an explanation to confirm my understanding. I 'so what did I say then and which tone did l use', she suddenly changed the conversation and mentioned that they were doing a face control...hahaha. - color face control l suppose. Disappointed and not enjoying what l ordered due to this situation, I decided to leave and then noted same situation with another guy who was refused entrance. He was also brown but from Morocco. So l can confirm that Sanatorija policy could be a bit shady depending on the days or some there are just racist. What a pity. I started to like the country and vibe. PS: I was in Moscow a while back and the eye contact and hospitality was much better when it comes to such places and also other public places. So you need to change your freaking mentality should you wanna grow up. I know my voice wont change anything...but if it could i'll close this place down. The said that the club is full but let a lot of other in and when I started speaking to him in Lithuanian he said no comment and that it is just like that. The guy in the picture was just holding the door but the guy that did not let us in ran away when I was taking pictures do the club. I am a white Lithuanian guy who speaks fluent Lithuanian and he was out right racist to my partner and her family who are black. I went one evening and everything was fine... let's say normal place... drink all in all normal with unpolite and not exceptional service. But let's say it could have been accepted! But the blonde waitress paired with the who didn't even speak English tell me that dressed so I can't get in.... But yesterday my €100 spent on was fine... what can I say ... hospitality is another thing and if you're not capable ... I would say that dress codes are useless ... because yesterday, for example, I saw several drunk being properly removed ... and today because they had a little more in the dehor they thought I wasn't dressed the way they like!
