Little charming village known for its local 🍷 Very beautiful within the lap of te nature. Must visit ❤️ Small village in the heart of melnik valley where grateful wines are produced. There are many options for restaurants, shops with local products such as wine, honey, home made sweets ( figs, nuts, etc). Rooms are available as well and during February a big festival is running regarding wine, followed by local folklor music and open door wineries The smallest in Bulgaria, situated in the Southwestern Pirin Mauntains. Known for it's typical architecture, the Melnik Earth Pyramids and it's wine. Although utterly touristic, well worth a visit. A very nice and very touristic village in Bulgaria. The inhabitants and the shopkeepers are not so friendly, but it is worth a visit!! A nice, touristic area, near the borders of Greece, that makes a good stop for the travelers. There are cafés and restaurants to enjoy a traditional meal or a coffee and many souvenir shops to buy nice things. Our beutyful Melnik! Very good and history! It is wrong to drive into the town! Please walk around and safe the beauty of the town! Smallest in Bulgaria. Known with good wines and buildings, you can spend a few hours visiting some museums and houses, restaurants and souvenirs shops Small touristic town, famous with a wine. Probably at the season is full of activities, but now out of the season is calm and not busy. Now is great 👍 👌 😉 Such a beatiful and great red wine) It is a “must see” and the village is very small and beautiful. If you have young kids they can play at the playground or in the river, there is not much for young kids to do and they cannot handle the heat and steep sandy hiking trails. We’ve been twice with small kids and they get bored. Next time we will leave the kids with baba. No tickets/wait Lovely little with amazing architecture, culture and nature. They have amazing local as well and museum. Been there several times and keep going back Small traditional village, where most of the houses are renovated in their original style, and through the centuries this place is part of the famous region. Nowadays, there you can taste traditional local food, drink from the authentic "Melnishka Shiroka", visit some of the old basements, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Sand Hills. Melnik is the smallest in Bulgaria. There are only two or three streets in the town. The houses have a preserved old style which makes it even more attractive for tourists. When you visit the city, you must try the raspberry wine.
