This is one of the most beautiful place in whole of bohinj and it has pretty strong competition. We visited in spring, the greenery is just perfect. If you dont have the time (or cant) to walk around the whole lake, choose north side (if you start from ribcev laz, or a huge parking, youll reach this site in a couple of minutes), its amazing. If you are in luck, and its sunny also, i can honestly say, this is one of the prettiest places i have ever visited. The beach is not crowded (June), water temperature is pleasant (22-23°C in June). It is definitely worth to swim in this at least once I a lifetime. The parking nearby is pricey (3 €/hour) but for a good reason: reduce traffic and protect nature. If you don't want to pay so much and stay here for a whole day, come by bike! ;) or leave your car in Bohinjska Bistrica, and come by cheap bus, going every 15 minutes. Fantastic nature, amazing views but the touristic infrastructure is so bad! Not enough car parks and if you are lucky enough to find one spare place the fee is €4 p/h which is ridiculous.
