Had a chance to talk to one of the owners about the brewery. He was very gracious and happy to spend a few minutes with me. Very welcoming brewpub where Bart was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to talk me through the beer options and suggest ones I might like, recommending an excellent hoppy Heffeweisen. The bar snacks (bitterballen and a cheese plate) were generous, tasty and very filling! Paired with a nice courtyard on a pleasant evening, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience! In the first two pictures you can see my burger that I received after 45-60 minutes of waiting time and the third picture is the burger I should have received. So, see the difference. The so-called cook did not accept a complaint and said that this burger is perfectly done and even has cheese inside (you do not see it, right? 🙄). The burger that I should have received looks a bit better (my boyfriend was a bit luckier than me), but at the same time for amount about 17 EUR you get very poor quality of the food. Small portions of the salad and little amount of French fries. Only one thing that was good is beer. Tasty, but, unfortunately, very expensive. I have been here three times and gave this place several chances, two of which were very average, even a bit lower, and last time was the total disappointment. We asked workers to tell their boss about our complaints and even left our contacts to discuss the situation, but nobody has reached us. We got discount for this sad dinner, thank you al least for that, but it was very hard for us to get it because staff thinks that we deserved what we had got. OMFG! I came for the beers. Hop Loving Criminal IPA right for my taste. But, but, buuut...incredible Steak&Fries! New on the menu, as I understand. And the beef was simply...gorgeous. It left me speechless. Maybe on the same level as the tagliata I once ate in Milan. In addition, I also received a salad. From local production, just like the meat. Needless to say the atmosphere is so nice, the service was so prompt, so attentive, everytime with a smile on their face. I would love to move here 🤣 PS: Honey ice-cream as dessert?!
