Tasty but toppings were quite sparsely added and the pancake itself was quite thin and on the light side. They do bake the toppings into the pancake. Whooha! The restaurant however lacks atmosphere, and when we were there in May, the large number of flies inside the restaurant were definitely a put-off. I guess you cannot stop flies from coming in, but a few blue light fly catchers may do the trick. We had a very nice time at Hugo's. Currently it's winter so the children played indoors but that was not a problem since there is a small kids area. It even had a mini cinema. Food was very good. The location is next to a nice river of water, it's not too enclosed by infrastructure and there is plenty room for both large and small bookings. The service is kind and understanding. They are willing to and capable of making changes and adapt where necessary. They don't bother the table too much asking for drinks and are altogether just good staffing. The food is offered in variety, but not too great, it doesn't overwhelm you. The menu is divided into clear categories and gives clear information on the food items that are available for purchase. Altogether, it is hard to not have a good experience at Hugo's, I have gone here several times and have yet to be disappointed.
