I’m not sure how to feel about the individual packages of syrup however; on one hand it’s super efficient at portion sizing and less messy to get on your pancakes. On the other hand it’s adds to the single use plastic waste… The place has a lovely terrace next to the river and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The hard plastic chairs did not have pillows which that kind of chair really should have. which made them a bit low and hard but nobody complained. The staff is super young and friendly. I was a bit late but they kindly made me food anyway. I had a goatcheese pancake which had a large amount of quite bland chevre and a bucket of very sweet sirup. Everything even the cheese, tasted of that sirup so I think I did make a wrong choice. I am not a pancake connaiseur so I wouldnt know if it was good compared to others. But the pancake itself was one of those soft milky very sweet kind, that come from a bottle or something. The staff did their best. of all kinds! We tried the savory ones! The are HUGE and delicious and sandwiches, cakes, coffee are fabulous as well. Rain or shine, kids or adults, definitely a great place to be!
