Turnul Croitorilor (Turnul Studentului) din Sebeș, parte din ansamblul fortificațiilor orașului, a fost înălțat în secolul XV și este situat în colțul de sud-est al cetății. Denumirea de Turnul Studentului vine de la evenimentul legat de atacul turcesc din anul 1438 când sudul Transilvaniei este devastat. Mulți locuitori ai Sebeșului sunt uciși sau duși în robie. Dintre cei care au rezistat făcea parte și un student. Dus în robie de turci, este ținut prizonier 20 de ani, până când este eliberat. Studentul își povestește viața într-o carte apărută în anul 1475. Frumos, dar din păcate accesul in Turnul Croitorilor se poate face doar prin curtea liceului Florin Fleșeriu. Păcat !
