Now, it looks obsolete This is an amazing place to eat. Eating their famous 'placinte' is a must. The rest of the food is also very good. I like the fact that they have all the farm animals there. The ponys and donkeys are a big hit with the kids. A great retreat, but it can get busy during the weekends with great weather when everybody comes to eat there. Food is average and the service is very bad. You can never find a waitter. We got our menus from the bar. Long wait for drinks, even longer for a soup (almost an hour) although there were only a few tables The staff very rude and arrogant. They are almost disturbed by the customers. Not worth it.. the food didn't impress in order to compensate.. overall bad experience The location could be nice.. it needs maintenance. And the bathrooms are kind of dirty and smelly I had a wonderful meal here. I read something about being a dirty backyard with chicken running around the tables - that wasn’t my experience at all! The place is a garden with large trees and separate seating for the different tables. I had a chicken soup (ha!) and very good pasta with truffles. So no, the menu is neither the “usual” stuff. And it wasn’t cheap. But it was all very good and I will be back for the pies as well! The staff is kind and polite while the food resembles a homecooked meal at an affordable price. P.s. the pies are amazing! I highly recommend this place. It’s quiet and cosy, nothing posh or extravagant , you are introduced into a family atmosphere and blend with that. We were hungry late in the evening and been on the road for hours. It was really hard to find a place with nourishment not merrily something to put in the mouth and call it food. Our two year old daughter was also hungry and moody so we decided to try it out. It was a cold evening and the fact that the host opened the fireplace for us was a big welcoming gesture we were the only guest at that hour. We ordered and all that we had for lunch was freshly cooked and tasty. We came back few months after and stayed overnight and had the same feeling. Most likely will return. According to my knowledge, this is a unique place in Romania with a high value/price ratio. It is a family business with friendly owners and nice employers. We always find the needed conditions to prepare for the field work and recover after long days. Those looking for a rustic base camp to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature and for good food will appreciate the place very much.
