The prices are really cheap when compared to the rest pf EU (like Italy, Germany, Spain, even its markets). This place being in a tourist area they simply cannot accept the fact that people will approach them and ask questions about their pastries as everything is written in their language and no translation is provided. The food is ok, nothing great. I got a cinnamon bun and a cherry pastry thing. Cinnamon pasty was dry as cardboard, cinnamon bun was ok. Unless you speak Lithuanian you will be baffled as there is no English translations as in many other places. Thank goodness for kind English-speaking customers because the staff didn't or wouldnt help, they all seem very angry. Word of advice, if you want an americano with milk, ask for it with milk. I didn't and assumed I could have a little bit of in my at the table but when I asked I had a comedically rude woman shout at me "you ordered americano you got americano, if you want americano with you order that and pay for the milk, costs money". So don't assume that a little bit of is included in the price of a hot drink. Perhaps you also pay extra for sugar if you don't specifically order sugar too. Her rudeness was funny and sadly not uncommon in Kaunas but I choose to ignore it and just drink my black rather than join the queue again.
