We both enjoyed this cute little bay more than anything during our self-driven Amalfi Coast day trip. Bus tours don't seem to stop here, so it is mostly people who drive themselves, and therefore it is not overcrowded at all. It is truly magical, and you can even rent your own boat here. Would be nice to try next time! One of the few more remote places that actually enable parking. What I can truly recommend is to walk to the right of the and go all the way to the former club that used to be there, which is closed. But there's a great place to cliff jump and just be by yourself. Marina di Praia is a charming located in the small village of Praiano, on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. It is one of the area’s hidden gems, offering a tranquil atmosphere and a blend of natural beauty and traditional coastal charm. Highlights of Marina di Praia Beach: 1. Setting: • Nestled between dramatic cliffs, the is a small cove with a mix of pebbles and sand. • The crystal-clear waters make it a great for swimming and snorkeling. 2. Atmosphere: • It’s less crowded compared to larger Amalfi Coast beaches, offering a more peaceful experience. • The has a traditional, unspoiled feel, with fishing boats often docked along the shore. 3. Dining: • Several excellent seaside restaurants and bars are located here, serving fresh seafood and local dishes. • Popular spots include Il Pirata and Trattoria da Armandino, known for their picturesque settings and delicious cuisine. 4. Activities: • Boat rentals and kayaking are available for those looking to explore the coastline. • The is also a starting point for excursions to nearby sea caves and hidden inlets. 5. Nightlife: • Africana Famous Club, a legendary nightclub set inside a natural cave, is located nearby, offering a unique nightlife experience. 6. Accessibility: • Marina di Praia can be reached by car, bus, or boat. A walking path along the cliffs also connects it to nearby areas. • Parking is limited, so public transport or boats are recommended during the peak season. 7. Nearby Attractions: • Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods): A famous hiking trail with panoramic views. • The quaint village of Praiano, known for its whitewashed buildings and peaceful vibe. Very beautiful situated in the cliffs, the best in the area. Also has nice restaurants, restrooms and bed rental available. Beds were around 70euro but have a for laying a towel down, but you'll need to get there early-ish to grab a spot. A beautiful located by two cliffs, with clear blue water. 2 beds & a parasol cost 60 euros for the entire day, but we skipped it and just sat on towels we brought with us for free as it was a rainy day (and indeed it started raining about an hour after we arrived, so that was a smart decision!) Furore's hidden gem! This pristine, uncrowded is a dream. Crystal-clear waters, soft sand, and a laid-back vibe make it perfect for families. The beachfront restaurant offers delicious treats, while the secluded setting feels like your own private paradise. Our absolute favorite in Furore! A gem of a find crawling along the Amalfi Coast, swung into the road down to the cove parked half way down, meter, short walk to cove, one half beds parasol use of toilet and shower for €50 , or left hand side of for free. Sun has to come around to fully light up left hand side, but by late morning, you are in the sun. Boat excursions run from the cove, so the morning outings returned lunchtime, a bit of a whiff of motor fumes, but not too bad. Swimming in cove limited, roped off due to excursion boats. Such a lovely beach. It’s a shame that only on third of this small can be accessed for free. The other two thirds are occupied by sun loungers which you need to pay quite high prices for. Nonetheless we arrived early so managed to get a for 3€ per hour and access to the free side of the beach. Parking on the paid spaces down the road costs 3€ per hour whereas to park on the lot by the you are requested to pay 3.5€ per hour for a small car (like fiat panda) or €5 for a bigger car (such as a ford fiesta). There aren’t many spaces down the road for 3€ per hour so if you wish to get a place you must arrive early to secure a place. We’ve arrived at 9am and most spots were already occupied. If there aren’t any spaces left, the staff will not let you drive down to access the beach. Waters are clean and quite warm, we really enjoyed this spot.
