Also, no changing cabins, but there are showers. A lot of smoking make you a smoker as well. In normal European countries smoking in public places is unacceptable. Nice free public beach. not super clear or clean but theres free public showers and its not too crowded. Hire prices for chairs and umbrellas arent too steep either (4€ ish) Good vibes, relaxing. The is kind of murky. Saw little fish near my feet. For a 1 time go it's fun. The view of the city from the is worth it! 🏖️👍🐟 Nice spot to relax as they provide this wooden deck. You can rent chairs and an umbrella for a very reasonable price and the bar on the has great prices for drinks and snacks Great little peaceful close to the old town of salerno... which is the most underrated city in Italy and one of my favorites in all of Europe. The crowd is chill, the is chill, the is soft (the sand is the sticky icky type, bring a big towel), the view is chillllllll... amalfi coast on one side, bay of salerno on the other, Sicily and the Mediterranean in front. Love it so much. Narrow full of cigarette butts and other assorted trash. As most of the beaches I saw in Salerno are. I don’t understand why the city can’t rake the beaches of all the trash and make them more appealing/presentable for such a great location/city ! Good location and nice view of Salerno. But the is very dirty and a bit smelly: flotsam, rubbish, cigarette butts, lots of pigeons and flies. Don't lie down in the sand, just relax on the wooden steps (watch broken glass). The nearby kiosk and music are a plus. Very beautiful pedestrian area, along the sea. Starting from the new modern port, through Piazza della Liberta, the beach, all the way to the other port. Nice for a walk, with lots of benches. can enjoy both the sea and the park with the palm trees, the divers, the fishermen, the with canoes. It's not a big beach, but there are not that many (Thursday afternoon). You can pay 4€ for a chair or parasol, if there are some still available. As expected there are selling stuff on the beach, but it's not as intense as other places. The sand and is relatively clean. It's easily accessible from the boardwalk, with many bus stops close. Nice to have a with sand as most nearby are stones. The views were lovely and the clear. Quite busy and lots of rubbish littered around. Limited facilities. The area is in a great location, has wonderful views, a nice buzzing atmosphere, and surprisingly clean (given how close it is to the commercial port). But unfortunately, the itself is disgustingly dirty and absolutely buried in litter. You can't comfortably take off your shoes and enjoy the sand, because there are too many hazards lurking – I picked up dozens of pieces of broken glass and sharp plastic. It's a real shame because there aren't many proper sandy beaches in the area, and this one could be so great if looked after it better. With more tourists visiting Salerno now that the airport is open, the local council should put resources into cleaning the daily and turning it into an asset – instead of letting local use it as a rubbish dump, like they are right now. The was in a ok condition! Ok enough if you want to go to the and not pay for sunbeds. It was a bit littering. Some broken glass, plastic bits, band aid. But not too much that you couldn’t swim. There were possible to rent sunbeds but idk for how much. don’t get me wrong the view is beautiful! but the itself is filled with trash. the is not swimmable. we saw a couple of swimming but otherwise it was mostly sitting on the eating. we decided to get a drink from the bar right by the beach, and the there were super nice, plus nice prices.
