I love to return to Iszkor after a blissful hike in the amazing Bukk mountains. The food is very tasty and here and never disappoints. Usually it takes one -one and half hour to have lunch here .reservation is recommended. The most delicious dinner in rural Hungary. The are perfect, the flavors are phenomenal, and the presentation is beautiful. The service was kind and knowledgeable. The portions are the right size. Excellent dishes were prepared from goods purchased from producers. We did not regret that we had traveled so far just for the sake of the restaurant. Dining at Iszkor feels like stepping into a fairytale. Nestled in the Bükk mountains beside a gentle stream, the wooden chalet creates a warm and rustic atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The food was flavorful and beautifully prepared, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. I only wish there were a few more dairy-free options, but overall, everything was delightful. Definitely a place worth returning to and recommending to others. A true suprise in the heart of the Bükk mountains. Contemporary kitchen, proud sourcing and very interesting vine list. Now I brought my parents to celebrate my mom’s birthday with a nice dinner and we couldn’t be happier. We loved every meal, from the selection of starters, soup, mains and the refreshing deserts. The flavors and their combinations were amazing. The service was very professional, warm and open for a friendly conversation. It all felt very cozy and natural.
