Zwembad Dilbeek

Brussels, Belgium Public swimming pool

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A great pool, and helpful staff. Although for the males, I found the swimming trunk rules a little strange. You cannot wear your tight Speedos, or loose Hawaiian style trunks, but a tight fitting medium length leg style, like cyclist shorts is okay. Something to do with hygiene. Decent facility, but no overhead flags or other visual markers, so not safe for backstroke. Also, rather expensive at €6 a swim, and has an irregular schedule with only a couple nights a week of evening operation (though to be fair, it's still the only in Brussels that's ever open till 22:30!). Wednesday evenings are really overcrowded. Fridays are bearable Good place where kids and toddlers also have an option of swimming. We were in the playground in the outside. Needs a little bit of TLC Great large pool. A fun for the kids and a nice kiddie pool. They have 3 herbal hot tubs, which are wonderful for aches and pains. A small bar area that over looks the pools with snacks and light refreshments. An overview area of the larger pool. Was a wonderful time with the dive club that is affiliate there. Since I moved to Dilbeek I found only two things that I like about this municipality: the people at Kind en Gezin and this amazing swimming pool. You can reserve in advance (highly advised). This is highly entertaining if you have kids (or if you are very childish at heart, like I am). The staff is very kind and friendly too! Except for the fact that they won't speak English to you, only Dutch. It's great I love it. Awesome always safe and clean. Unfortunately, I did not even have time to get into the water that was stopped to tell me that my swimming outfit was inadequate. I wore a fine and shortly suit designed for swimming pool! After asking for explanations, I was offered shorts "adequate" according to them and, as pledge, I had to give one of my shoes! Totally crazy .. first and last time..
