One of the Best Places To Visits in Ullensaker Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Small place packed full with memories. Free admission. Running by SAS retired staffs. They’re very lovely. The memorabilia collection will take you back in time. A lot of familiar items. The silverware, the menu and the uniforms! Finally got to go inside this museum this Sunday- a great experience for my teenage son! He loved the incredible flight simulator that was hand built by an expert enthusiast using real SAS aircraft components and who is still the one guiding the participants on how to use it today! The four-person sleeping bag that’s on display is amazing and pure genius -I want one! Not because I’m going on any expeditions anytime soon but just because… wow. I also really want to get my hands on some of that SAS ski merch from the 1980s! Today’s tribute 80s skiwear just doesn’t cut it compared to this original, glorious winter-chic style!! Very friendly place. The exhibition is very diverse and interesting. Admission is free. It is easily accessible from the terminal by bus 420. It was a pleasure to look through the exhibition. The staff (made up of ex-SAS employees) are very nice and everyone shows that their life is flying, the SAS and the museum. It was great to see the happiness in their eyes, that they could show us what SAS is. The museum is a rare treasure. 🥹✈️ The museum staff are very friendly, the space is not large but very nicely designed, and there is something for everyone – giant model airplanes with visible interiors, seats from real airplanes, cutlery sets, and both exterior and interior aircraft equipment. There is also a small café where you can buy souvenirs, and a roof terrace with a view of the airport's western runway. The gentleman even gave me an SAS travel toothbrush when he saw my interest, which I will add to my collection. Thank you once again for a pleasant visit, Jumbolino-model from Czechia Incredible experience, highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Staff are very welcoming, full of legendary history, 737 simulator which you are free to try. Great views, friendly staff ❤️ Free entrance, friendly and helpful staff. Cafe wasn't open this Sunday. But we got free coffee. Museum is only open a few hours per week and the next opening date 16/9 is cancelled! I’m sure it is an interesting museum but close to impossible to visit!!
